Its a lively day here down in Corneall so we are going to have a day relaxing on site and go for a swim also I might catch some of the tour de France. Got a phone call from my sister yesterday to say that a lorry had side swiped her on the M6 luckily she had no injuries just a bit shaken but a policeman at the scene saaid that he couldn't beleive that she had walked away from it un harmed. Just goea to show how life can change in an instant luckily she was fine but things could have been different

We have a weather station that sends data to the PC and then onto our  <<website >>

And on Monday I set it up to upload to Weather Underground. It's a world wide site, with 200,000 PWS's (Private Weather Stations). It was amazingly simple to set up, apart from giving us an ID of Sedgwick (of Kendal CC site fame), instead of our vtllage. But the location on the map is correct.

There's a lot of information, not all gleaned from our data. And please don't blame me if the forecast is wrong!

Today I will be fitting a mobility scooter platform to the back of my MotorHome that was made for us by Armatage trailers , very good and quick service by them ( and nicely made)

Write your comments here...

we got our A-frame from Armitage and they done the conversion on our car so we could tow it behind the motorhome. There service was excellent for us too very professional and the A-frame is made to a good quality

Same here Francis, we got ours from them 3 years ago very good service.

Didn't get my relaxing day yesterday as I hoped, OH washed my car so ended up gardening again! then it was 2 baskets of ironing when the rain came on. Into town to a garage in the afternoon to get my A/C in the car recharged, not bad had it 5 years now and thats the first time so can't complain.

This morning broke nice and sunny so back out to the garden to do more stuff. OH is fitting a tow bar to my car, while doing so he has noticed that a rear spring has broken, quick phone call and one is on its way, he's now gone to collect it on his trike and if the rain doesn't stop him he will fit that this afternoon. Wiring of the tow bar electrics will have to wait until tomorrow now, when hopefully it won't be raining.

Took delivery of my new twin tub washer for the van yesterdaySmile  had a good play with it, really pleased with it the spinner is great.

Thanks for that Goldie. Be good to compare it to what the BBC says, before deciding which I prefer.

If we're checking the weather before mowing etc, we look at several weather sites, then pick the one we like best. And no one ever believes me!

IanH please update us on Henrys ducklings when you have news.

Seems to be another gentle summers day, enjoy yourselves whatever you're doing. ?

Not seen any ducks at all today, which is unusual (mind, I've been out much of the day).

We're assuming that they are all keeping out out of the area for a while, after the marauding dog. What we didn't want to see was Henry on her own.

Went to Llangollen for the eistedford.  MOH changed her mind and we ended in a horse drawn barge travelling alon the canal instead. A better choice I feel.

Wink, Picked up the "Stuart Turner" 8Hp, engine with the 'backhoe' of my Case digger today ,and placed it on it's engine mountings in the double ender boat. Also whilst the Case was out ,lifted an old car transporter trailer out from the undergrowth/overgrowth to be refurbed.Helped cut off a sail that wrapped itself round a prop'.

Hot and sunny all day .Good breeze ,so lots of people 'going ou't on the high tide.
