I paid the annual renewal on my car insurance this afternoon. It cost me £1903. I had to stay on hold for twenty minutes on the phone before I could speak to someone. Once I got an answer, it was fairly straightforward on making a card payment over the phone. Now all paid up until December 2017.

Blimey Malc! Are you sure you've got that decimal point in the right place! Surprised

Eating up 'emergency rations' cleared out of the motorhome. Lots to choose from forrin' shopping purchases: tinned cassoulet, soupe de poissons, pate de jambon, gratin dauphinois, plus several cartons of Longlife milk and Birds custard, tinned fruit...... but best of all a Fray Bentos tinned snake and pigmy pie........mmmmm, it'll be a nice but naughty easy meal tonight with leeks, sprouts, carrots and peas and enough veg left over for bubble and squeak tomorrow. I do enjoy winter menus.

Write your comments here...Yes and I saved £200 by doing it in a single payment rather than by monthly direct debit. It covers me for business use as well.

Well there's only me in the m/h so I can indulge in 10 or more stones of alimentary pleasures. Mind you, Fray Bentos pies are rubbish at Scrabble.

Write your comments here...I like the Fray Bentos pies too. The trouble is, I haven't got a tin opener that works. Both the tin openers I bought from Tesco have never worked.
