Three Quarter Length Shorts

The name my husband and I call them in private would be unprintable!!   Nothing more stupid looking than just  4" of leg showing above white socks!!  

 Dork Shorts ,,Crops  ?? Whatever !!  They ALL look like big brother's hand-me-downs !! .

Agree why do some men (brits) always do this, come on bare legs =  bare feet, get with it you guys

Not a fan of long shorts.  Knee length, or just above knee length suits me best.  I've worn shorts continually this last 7 weeks.

They've been around a while, they ain't new-in the 1800's they were called 'plus fours' I've seen shooters & golfers wearing them. . . .With socks & shiny shoes. It takes all sorts

Shorts  - lovely - the shorter the better from my point of view. I've got short legs and I have spent last 4 yrs or so trying to get shorts that are short enough!

Bermudas are OK in Bermuda but in the UK I want a tan line that is 6 inches above my knee caps.

I found it impossible to get a decent pair of shorts in the UK so when the wife went to South Africa that was on top of her buying list.

The other issue is decent long socks that are meant to be worn with shorts.  In my younger days I could keep my pen in the top of my socks as I mostly wore a T shirt when working.  Also the socks stayed up on their own and I never needed garters to hold them up.  Sadly I am now down to one decent pair of long socks.

Any one remember the "safari suits" which looked neat and were cool?  You could wear them with either matching shorts or longs.

for gents, Fat Face have a sale on at the moment for those who need (proper) shorts...also good end-of-season supply in M&S.

however, OH finds it really hard to get good shorts....theyre all micro styled these days.....oh, well...

i virtually live in shorts.....with Crocs/flip flops..no socks...lol.

however, socks are de rigeur 'on the course'....though we do get away with those tiny 'shoe liner' types......no plus fours/twos for us these days...
