It's good to hear that members of CT are receiving their vaccinations, good luck to all those yet to have theirs. It seems like a long haul till we get everyone sorted and hear the results of the present vaccines.

I'm leaving this open for non political comments as per the guidelines. Hope you can add your own experiences and thoughts.

My first jab comes up tomorrow, I'm so glad we have research institutions that have got us this far! And I am planning breaks away in the hope of improvements on the horizon.

Very interesting article here in the Times Educational Supplement regarding this subject which perhaps disproves your argument. Many things have changed since many of us had very young children. Firstly not so many mothers worked so had more time to potty train. Children seem to be starting school a lot younger, nursery at the age of three? There are also psychological dangers into forcing a child to behave in a way that is not natural to them which then has knock on effects into later life. Lots of things and skills develop at different times so you can't put a specific time on some of these things. The expectation is that by the age of four most children should be potty trained but like all things some will achieve that earlier and some later. In the same way children learn to read at different ages. I am quite shocked that a special needs teacher should say such a thing, clearly someone in the wrong job?

I did not  have an argument DK, when my post is read correctly was advised by the teachers that SOME children have  problems

Before it became the present hotel I did a residential course there with Cornwall County Council. Nice place even when things were more basic!

My wife recently posted a ‘tounge in cheek’ comment that the best thing about the hotel is the view on their FB page but her location clearly escaped them!
