Exciting News! At Wyatts Covert Club Campsite we’re trialling Smart Metering, which means you will only pay for the amount of electricity you use during your stay.

The price quoted for bookings at this campsite excludes electricity (with campsite fees reduced accordingly) and we will only charge you for the precise amount of electricity you use during your stay.

What about businesses with around 1500 employees dd? Anyway that's bye the bye and whether I know anything or not is sort of irrespective.

Betting with yourself dd, there are places you can get help with gambling you know.

I have just emailed the Club to ask what the Kwh price will be on the two sites. I have suggested its not very transparent only to find out the cost once you have booked. Will let you know when I get a response.

I checked out a few CLs where meters are used and couldn't find any advertised rates so it will be interesting if CAMC respond. Ofgem have policies on resale but it would be good to hear further details.

I also wonder why a mate with contacts with HMG would guide someone to the money supermarket website and a cut and paste? Does HMG use this site for advice?

This applies to both this thread and the metering thread so I'll post it in both.

We have had, if memory serves, no one posting on here that has been actually affected by this current trial and the proposed metering trial, and their experiences. All we have is posters discussing the possible issues, and some saying they won't use it in any event, but no one who is actually going to be affected posting?

There must be someone booked in now for when the trial starts?
