the club need to check the pricing. On searching Treamble Valley the from price was totally different to the cheapest cost which was in October for one person and pitch.

Only £22.30, surprised I don't pay that even in June, certainly wouldn't pay that in winter.

The sites are getting way to expensive, as others have said thank goodness for the CL network.

Clearly enough folk think it is reasonable value. We have been several times for a week in the winter and there have always been plenty of folk in residence. Less popular sites with mid week discount work out at around £16.70. Both in my opinion are reasonable value, when you could well be consuming a fair chunk of your fee in electricity.

This year we have spent 62 nights away and our average per night price over the year was £22.20. this is a mix of CMC, C&CC and Commercial sites. The cheapest was £16.05 a night and the most expensive £26.00. We would have paid more had there been a site we wanted to visit. In total this year we have spent just under £1400 which is pretty good value for the equivalent of two months holidays? If I really thought that site fees were becoming unaffordable, personally I would be thinking of giving up and doing something else.

My average for the year was £13.66 for a mixture of Club,C&CC, Commercials, CL's and Aires. Previous years have averaged between £13 and £15.

Keep cranking up the prices for a bit of field and a loo block and people will start seeing the attraction of an apartment in the sun with a pool for the same sort of money. Unless you tour on your own doorstep, the price of fuel could well be more than the cost of flights.

I shall most certainly be voting with my wallet.

Given the relative cost of running a site in Winter with fewer users, more electric and little reduction in any of the outgoings compared to Summer I consider £22.30 to be reasonable.

But there is no proof of that although the site staff on sites that i have the pleasure of knowing will not accept that either,, faults and damaged pitches  when repaired are far more likely to be the reasons for pitches to become available at short notice,it does not show so much when sites are less busy at weekends

Don't need proof JVB. The fact that cancellations are allowed without penalty is good enough for me and mostly likely for many other members as well.

I don't doubt that some may cancel due to weather and that concerns me not at all.

We have been cancelled twice by the CAMC because of the weather. Therefore it only seems reasonable we can as well.😉

Our directory just arrived. Having a scan through, I noticed the cost of a yearly WiFi pass has gone up by £2.50 to £27.50 However nice to see that dynamic bandwidth is now available on all gold / silver sites. It makes a real difference when there are not many folk using the system. We had 8MB download at Clumber the other day and similar at Tewkesbury in September.

From £2.50 to £27.50 is a hell of an increase!!
