The absence of readily available prices is, IMHO, merely a ruse to disguise the inexorable increases in the cost of staying on a club site. I sampled a couple with which I am familiar to find that, for the archetypal unit plus two adults, they vary between around £26 low season to well over £30 in high season. I didn't dare look at the "honeypots". 

All I can say is, thank goodness for the CL network as I would think it unlikely that I shall ever visit a club site again unless it was a 'no facs' one.

Thanks for the explanation. It does seem to be a point the could be addressed by the club. It is annoying to think you have posted a worthy reply only for the post to be stopped.

Totally agree with your first sentence.

I have looked at 4 most popular sites and the difference in price from low to high season is up to £13.50 per night for two people. 

                            Peak                     Off Peak

Black Knowl       35.30                     23.40

Baltic Wharf        36.60                     23.80

Chatsworth        36.40                     22.90

Rowntree Park   36.50                     23.20    

That took a while using the new system of looking on line. If the price had been in the handbook then it would have been more instant

It's gone up £5.50 since the present handbook. It also now has two price bands with a difference between each of 20p per pitch and 10p per adult. 

Whoever sat round the table and thought that one up. The lower price is for 2 weeks at the beginning of the season, I wouldn't have bothered.

I agree with you, the only way to get the dates needed is to book for the year and cancel those dates not required 72 hours before the deadline.
