Good morning. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience being caused with the implementation of our new booking system. Members and guests are able to make bookings through the new system however this is not the complete experience we have designed.

Please be assured our IT and Technical Teams are working extremely hard to resolve all of the issues as soon as possible.

Been a member for over 30 years, and I mainly use CL sites, and looking at the new system, it doesn't give me any indication of cost per night, any reviews from other members, or any site specific directions, which to some sites is critical. Which means I will now have to dig out the sites handbook and double check.
I would have thought that any changes would have been made to improve the system, but this appears to loo

Totally with you, how do you know if a CL is suitable without reviews, when they introduced these it was a big plus for us and along with prices. Also when looking through the CL listings it’s it or miss if you find electric hook up on the filter list, oh and there is no back button half of the time.TOTAL SHAMBLES

May I please say it one last time.

If you want a list of CLs for any particular area - and reviews -  them use Google. Just type CAMC plus name of a town in any  area which interests you as a Google search. All the CLs I that area will pop up and you can click on any of them

But cost per night is decided by the site owners and only they know

Fully agree you can get CL details by this method BUT WE SHOULD'NT HAVE TO!!!

We should be able to access all the details directly from the Club website!

The fact we can't just shows the Clubs contemptuous attitude to its members and particularly towards CL owners!

and so you should, I think it is an omission on the Club's part that there isn't a link from the summary you find by using "Book a campsite" I will be very surprised if this is not eventually provided in some way. In the meantime in addition to using Google you can use the Club's web site. The information is still there and the easiest way to find it is to use the Club's web site search facility which you can bring up by clicking on the magnifying glass in the top right hand corner of a Club web page and entering the name or part name of the site you want more detail about.

Happy searching.

But what if one wants to search for CLs in a specific area, and don't know the names of any of those sites? The old system worked reasonably well, so why should one have to use an alternative system to find sites that are part of the club's network?

Don't know why you cannot Nellie, just search in the area you want e.g. by county and you will get a list. You can even see where they are on the map or expand or shrink the area of interest. Select one that interests you and search on its name.

I am having a great deal of problem understanding why the new booking sytem does not work for most. It does have some foibles but as I said, I will be very surprised if they don't get fixed. It is not only CLs where detail is not obvious  but also Club sites so there is a lot at stake.

Wow   What a disaster!!    This new system is apppalling I just want to know what late availabilty there is in a couple of areas but it seems I have to be precise with these details.  The old system worked well why change it.  How much has this change cost???   Lots of questions should be asked.  I hope this was discussed on Saturday at Cannon Hall.

Anyway, the new info for CLs sucks,, in as much as there is (now) no info! Is there an attempt to undermind CL's because they are a success? Why might they be a success - because they are traditional caravanning, at a sensible price. Unlike the ranks of vans on sterile club sites having to fork out £30 plus per night for the priviledge.  Get a grip C&MC.  Constructive critisim of this bl**** great  (new website) c*** up needs to be expanded out of this forum so that the management WAKE UP.  PLEASE.

I've just used the new booking system for the first time and now understand why there have been so many complaints. I'm probably just repeating what others have said, but why change a system that worked well. I understand the reason for taking a deposit but why didn't they just add a payment page to the existing system. Life's too short to list the problems with the system so I'll just leave it there.

Have you tried using the Help and FAQ. Right click on the picture to enlarge. It works fine if you put in the date window when you want to go away. e.g. a specific weekend

If it is a specific site you want, search for the site, click book, select the type of pitch you want and scroll through the calendar to see what is free.
