We were staying on the North Yorkshire site at Whitby and our neighbours were heating their  awning all day. No wonder the prices are going up on the Caravan Club sites.

We only have a "roll out" canopy (as with MH's), and found that out heater couldn't keep it warm frown

We also have a canopy and put one at each end, and sit in the middle smile Thinking of a third one at the front but will have to use next doors bollard socket so will make up a splitter innocent

Personally I think the human race is doomed, fortunately I shall be gone by then, but stlll believe heating a tent is a selfish waste of energy.

As said we all have ours views, we all think it's right or wrong for whatever reason but until the club changes its current ruling it is allowed and people will continue.

I've noticed a change though in how this is perceived now. Down the (many) years this has been aired, once it was just driving prices up and why should I pay for someone's heating. Now while that is still in this thread the majority of posts are about the environmental impact. I wonder when this shift happened?

But most people have moved on from a 6210 .... 🙄

No idea what 6210 is. Was it before my time?

The Nokia 6210 is a mobile phone made by Nokia. It was introduced at the CeBIT fair in Hanover in February 2000,  succeeding the Nokia 6110.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Nellie. Nearly before my time as although I used  works mobile my first one was around that time. bit too large for me. My present clamshell style will fit in a ticket pocket and is 10 year old. I dropped my previous one after 8 years and damaged the back. Fortunately I liked it so much I bought a spare shortly after. First was £10 and second £12. It will go 10+ days between charges but gets a weekly charge
