I am Blue Badge Registered Disabled and struggling to get a hard standing pitch since they have changed booking procedures to Standard Pitch on some sites where there used to be a choice.

You are not alone with the first part of your postundecided

I understand no comercial organisation this club included is allowed to question the reason the reason any person is disabled ,surprised

That is for job application, i far as i am aware, there is  no law which stops some one .or an organisation  asking for  proof of disability ,if a person is asking for special treatment, on the grounds disability
The law only protect against  discrimination, on the ground of disability

Law or not, it is a gross invasion of privacy to question someone in that manner and decent people/organisations recognise that.

When did verifying  the truth become a gross invasion of privacy
if some one is asking for special treatment, why should they have a problem proving why ?

How exactly do you suggest the club carries out this verification? undecided

You are out of order, TMTO, and starting to cause offence with your questioning of a sensitive subject. Go stir things up somewhere else.

Why is it a sensitive subject
If i asked for special treatment, and some one asked, i would not have a problem

I am registered disabled ,due to an accident i had at work ,but as yet have never chosen to used it
The accident requiring a time in hospital and an  operation ,8 months of work ,and over a year of physio
However from my experience, i have seen member who have claimed they are disabled, but from what i have seen a number of times, their claim  was questionable, to be diplomatic
A question how does the Club verify a members claim, they are disabled ?

If you 'saw a member' how in the name of the almighty would you have any knowledge of what they might have claimed if indeed they claimed anything?

As for being diplomatic; You are totally out of order. Why the hell would anybody choose to claim on thread to be registered disabled and say that they never chose to use it? Whatever that might mean. The fact is that you have used the claim of disability to lend unlikely credence to your views and observations.

In 2019 I considered I might have to cancel our first trip from mid April to mid May as a few days before departure  I was unable to hold the clutch down for low speed manoeuvres when in the tow car. I could not walk sensibly without a stick and my balance was poor. I had a very slight improvement and coped although I did not use a shower and resorted to strip washes.

During the next trip out from 10th June for 50 nights I did the same on the next couple of sites whilst still requesting a pitch near facilities. Our third stop was at Trewethet and the warden lent me a key. After realising the difference that it provided I ordered a key on line to arrive at the next site. A friend of mine who was disabled only got a key following having to use a colostomy bag.

I will not say what I really think of your post.
