I am Blue Badge Registered Disabled and struggling to get a hard standing pitch since they have changed booking procedures to Standard Pitch on some sites where there used to be a choice.

However from my experience, i have seen member who have claimed they are disabled, but from what i have seen a number of times, their claim was questionable

If you 'saw a member' how in the name of the almighty would you have any knowledge of what they might have claimed if indeed they claimed anything?

As for being diplomatic; You are totally out of order. Why the hell would anybody choose to claim on thread to be registered disabled and say that they never chose to use it? Whatever that might mean. The fact is that you have used the claim of disability to lend unlikely credence to your views and observations.

In 2019 I considered I might have to cancel our first trip from mid April to mid May as a few days before departure  I was unable to hold the clutch down for low speed manoeuvres when in the tow car. I could not walk sensibly without a stick and my balance was poor. I had a very slight improvement and coped although I did not use a shower and resorted to strip washes.

During the next trip out from 10th June for 50 nights I did the same on the next couple of sites whilst still requesting a pitch near facilities. Our third stop was at Trewethet and the warden lent me a key. After realising the difference that it provided I ordered a key on line to arrive at the next site. A friend of mine who was disabled only got a key following having to use a colostomy bag.

I will not say what I really think of your post.

Will you please stop being  personal, there is such a thing as having another view ,and the high court has ruled that having a different point of view ,is not offensive
It is not uncommon to be told that a certain pitch, or pitch  though empty , are not available due to be reserved for a disabled person
The question is not why should any one  make that claim to get special treatment, the question is why should they then  object to produce evidence, to verify their claim for special treatment
The government does not give benefits and welfare etc without proof  and i they do not object then
If i was anti disabled i could understand your aggressive attitude, but i am not

The washroom on club sites is not necessarily for the disabled but for the use of  those that state to have a need, usually less able but not necessarily registered disabled.

If you consider that post to be personal that's fine as I have not said what I really think

And indeed why would you? The application is via the local council and the badge has a 3 year life

You are claiming if hospitalized for treatments,  appointments, final discharge  paperwork is not proof
Your doctors does not keep records etc
In the case of my employer the accident was recorded in the accident book ,and later  confirmed by my employer for insurance reasons
Having a different view,  not liking , not agreeing with what i post, is not making trouble
However  being personal,is trying to make trouble

That is for job application, i far as i am aware, there is  no law which stops some one .or an organisation  asking for  proof of disability ,if a person is asking for special treatment, on the grounds disability
The law only protect against  discrimination, on the ground of disability

As others have said any assistance is not given on the basis of disability but on somebody requesting consideration. There is absolutely no need to provide any evidence whatsoever and in no way should there be

Such documentation is no proof of a disability registration and if it were would not be required. Next you will be claiming that you carry such 'evidence' at all times. laughing

In reference to proof, I suggest you read the application form for a blue badge, would you like the link ?
How about proof and  applications for disability related benefits and welfare etc

Never claimed such documentation is proof of a disability registration ,but you would need such proof to claim for disability registration
