Ukulele players

Whenever I go away with my motorhome, I always pack a ukulele. Needless to say I always play it  reasonably quietly indoors so as not to upset fellow caravaners! But, it would be really nice, if there was the interest, to arrange a weekend meet of members who also love and play this versatile little instrument. Maybe there are a number of peopke who play other instruments and/or sing too, and who who be happy to do a musical weekend? It really is a joyous way to spend a couple of days. Not asking for commitments at the moment but just a hands up as a show of interest, so that I know if it is a “goer” or not. Love to hear from you!!

This isn't really a story and may well be moved by a mod. There must be a lack  something, clear instructions - intuitive use? as lots of new folks start discussions in this section, so you're not alone!

Not a player but I'd love to listen if you do succeed finding like minded folks and I'm around.

Hi.  I have just joined, and this is just the sort of thing that interests me.  I play ukulele too.. and many other instruments, and hooking up with fellow people who play adds a huge amount to life.

Thanks for posting

Hi, My daughter (who has a motorhome) and her three children all play the ukulele (as well as other instruments) and I know she would jump at the chance to have a get together on a site where you can all socialise and centre it around playing the ukulele. I would suggest a site with a club so in the evening you have a venue, and one that comes to mind is Seacroft, Cromer which has a lovely little club, a site we visit as a family on a regular basis and is open all year.  Food for thought and a great idea of yours .

Jacquard, nice idea. Did you also know the Club has a volunteer Concert Band? I'm sure you'll find other enthusiasts out there. EDIT. Forgot to add there are singers too.
