Pump King

Could someone explain as to why the 'Pump King' thread has disappeared without explanation? It was put into a hidden folder, the live links were altered to delete all trace to the original site and members offers as if it never existed and all that is now on offer is a 'Right Shell' card. This is only valid on UK motorways whereas the 'Pump King' card covered any UK station with its offer.

Could the PK card with better benefits have been posted inadvertantly, and not meant for members but for HQ staff and the lesser RS card being offered just for us?

Not in hope for a reply but politeness costs nothing.

quite unbelievable all round, a full page add, which someone must have approved, designed, costed, then a link with a pass code which again shows planning, someone had to make the webpage, and someone must have approved it. It might (big might) have been an oversight it went live but it was all there ready to go live. Doesn't this show a lot of planning had gone on? I think someone pulled the plug at the last minute.

Sorry, guys, I assumed the subject Pump King was something to do with Halloween or Cinderella’s coach. It seems a fairy story was not that far from the truth!!

I'm another who sighed up to this.

Funny that the Pump-king.co.uk website looks very different to what I signed up to? Just prompts for a log in box and quess what my details, that I signed up with, no longer work.

Also the parent web address seems to have disappeared:

"Your message wasn't delivered to accounts@pump-king.com because the address couldn't be found"

This seems very odd for a legitimate business?

I will be contacting my bank first thing on Monday and will be holding CAMC Ltd responsible for any spurious spending on my account that has anything to do with "Pump-King"

Is it possible that The Caravan Club were being scammed in a big way and someone found out at the last minute and was able to block it, and cancel the big announcement at the show?

Did anyone in CAMC do any form of research before publishing this offer?

I've found all this with five minutes of Googling!

There are a couple of links on Google which appeared in the earlier thread but they now lead nowhere as did the CT links just before the thread vanished.

Yes I thought it was one of those predictive text errors. Not that we use motorway fuel unless desperate. The latest offer hardly touches the price difference.

Unless the contractor decided to do it without the clubs approval, you know, just like the planning debacle where the club blamed Seville’s surprised

Harribo, i have the same problem, but dont think this was a scam, have checked my bank this morning and all is ok, they have only taken the original £2 which was the admin fee, i think CAMHC screwed up in a big way and have now taken the site down, will be interesting to see how they wriggle out of this one, i was told somebody from CAMHC or PK would contact me directly but nothing as yet. I wonder how many people signed up for this and are totally unaware of the problem. For those who havent seen it yet, take a look at FB re the adverse comments re the new offering, shambles all round i think
