No longer welcomed

You would be welcome at the Detling (Kent) Caravan and Campervan Show, no mention of Motor caravans

I'm  of  the  old  school  -  call  me  anything  you  like,  just  don't  call  me  late  for  meals !!

As  long  as  you  keep  paying  your  'subs'  nobody  really  cares  !!

Dont you think the tea drinkers should have thought the new name through properly or better still, if not broke why fix it?

As the majority on here and Face thingy also agree,  but the Marketing dept have to  try to justify their large budget some how , even though as has been shown with the new "company"and now the latest "news" of regional versions of the magazine ,they are so out of touch with the membership and ethos of the club

what I would like to see is will they change their insurance to cover all vehicles they wont insure me as I commute in my camper as I can;t afford to run 2 vehicles so I not get any member benefits !!!

Quite funny really. The  April mag refers to "club awards" pages 94 ---.The text refers to Campervans but the tea drinkers in their wisdom alienated that large proportion in the new club Title. No joined up thinking only a rush to waste our monies.

I suspect "tenters" (whether on wheels or pack away) have better cause to feel alienated. As the original caravan in the desert used nothing other than tents this lust towards wheels and engines does seem rather inappropriate.

I thought it was the other club who had tent members

If the cc want to attract more younger families they are going to have to do more to get tents as that is where the adventurers are going , as it is much more finacially attractive , as the increasing membership of the ccc proves

Not sure that tenters have to be CC members?
