How does this Club compare with the ‘Other’?

I’ve started this discussion to try and collect together any direct comparisons between CC and C&CC.

One mentioned several times is that C&CC charge deposits with bookings, whereas CC does not. In that same discussion, it was mentioned that the C&CC membership was larger than CC’s, which surprised me. Can anyone provide the stats?

What other factual differences can be identified?

That is because it is new and the access to it is currently hidden. It did briefly appear on the members page but last time I looked I couldn't find it without doing a search function.

Thank you peedee, I knew I wasn't imagining things. There was a link to click on.

What I find disturbing is the fact that you are shown online when making a booking, not good in my opinion........

Well here's a difference! On the whole I prefer the C&CC booking system, no frenzy day and I can choose a pitch type. Well, that's if it's working - I've just tried 3 times using 2 different browsers to book a site for next April with zero success! I've never failed to book a site with the CC system.

Looks like I'll have to resort to phoning the call centre tomorrow! Sad. Use left and right arrows to navigate.

Booked both clubs sites on the nett and had no problems with either. I do prefer the CC site though which seems easier to me.

Found the forum via the search function - only to keep getting the "Sorry, an error occurred while processing your request" message every time I clicked on a topic;  or can you only read anything if you are signed up to the forum?  I was logged in as a member at the time, but not a member of the forum.  Agree it is difficult to find, I didn't know about it until I read it in this thread!

The same thing happened to me 3 days ago so it seems as if they've not done any updating yet. As it's only a trial a the moment perhaps they're waiting for a while to sort all those sort of problems out.

Thanks Nellie, at least I know it's not just me.  But how is anyone going to be able to use the forum, even on a trial basis, if it appears to have been like this for the last 3 days?  Perhaps it will be sorted tomorrow as it's Monday and IT staff should be back in workWinking

Nellie and InaD, if you "clear your cache" the error messages will disappear.....Cool

Well, I tried to post a reeply to thank you but it disappeared Sad So: well, you learn something new every day; I did as you said and clicked on a topic and hey presto, no error message.  Perhaps something a lot of people know about, but I didn't.  Will remember for future problems, thank you very much BT Smile
