We were on an independent site this autumn that provided 2 waste masters for use by motorhomers  as they didn't have a MSP.

Simple solution that was thoughtful so unlikely to be seen on a CAMC site anytime soon. Pity really.

Good to know but I'm not at all sure how that answers my question about EHU take up on CCC sites?

C&CC used to do that at Dingwall before they built a drive over point.

C&CC at Oxford provide a wastemaster for Motorhomers. At least a bit of thinking outside the box.

wouldn't a bit of thinking outside the box be to build a proper MHSP though?

A wastmaster would not fit under the waste outlet on some motor caravans surprised

In my experience on most C&CC sites the non EHU pitches are grass; often not favoured or regrettably unsuitable for MH's.  I assume, but don't know, that will limit their take up.

Not all are unsuitable for motorhomes. Been on CLs where non electric grass pitches are available, some really good for motorhomers willing to choose this option.

Probably not possible because the C&CC don't own the site and likely have it on a relatively short lease which tends to discourage any investment? It's the same on a lot of CMC sites, unless there is a decent length of lease both Clubs are cautious of investing even relatively small amounts of money beyond what is essential to keep the site ticking over. MHSP or not the Oxford site is very convenient for a visit to Oxford with buses from the P&R just across the road.

Why not buy one if you intend using sites that don’t have suitable waste disposal point, mind you the last time I was at Rowntree York cmc the motorhome r next to us used a waste master but could be bothered to empty it at the service point or the motorhome emptying point he just tipped it onto the grass at the back of his pitch.
