We’d like to invite you to our brand new Facebook page – which is live today – a special preview for Club Together members. We will be using Facebook to spread the word about The Club, share news, offers advice and inspiration; it joins our other channels in offering you more choice in how you connect with The Club.

We want you to join our ever-growing community, so we’re offering an exclusive. We are giving away 20 pairs of site night vouchers for this week only. All you need to do is find our Club Together milestone on our Facebook timeline and comment with #sitenightvoucher.

Please remember that Facebook is a public forum, we want to showcase the best of The Club and our members, so don’t forget to check out our House Rules.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on our new social media channels, please comment on this thread and let us know what you think.

Prize draw closes at midnight on 13 August; visit Facebook for full terms and conditions.

Find us on >>> Facebook <<< today and don’t forget to follow us on Twitter and Instagram @thecaravanclub

Well, it's newer and more trendy......but still doesn't work as well as e-mail.

I have no axe to grind either way. However, email is far more universal, as long as you have a computer. For facebook / twitter you have to belong. I just don't want to belong.

I use email, text, phone, fb msg depending on who and how many I want to communicate with. I don't dismiss any, or favour any, horses for courses IMHO.

E-mail works, FB is a fad that works less well......

Example.......does FB tell you when a message hasn't been received?

It tells you it's been read. It also tells you it hasn't

Write your comments here...yes it does, and the time..I like fb and I use it, if others don't well that's fine by me, up to each individual.

So it doesn't tell you it's failed to deliver then?

Write your comments here...It tells you if its been seen or not. Delivered isn't an appropriate question as things all appear straight away.

So not quite as good as e-mail then.......but there again, as FB's main purpose is to gather your personal details, I guess that's all that matters......
