Overseas Campsite Awards 2022
We are delighted to announce the return of the Caravan and Motorhome Club and Alan Rogers campsite awards.
The awards were held in Birmingham during the UK’s biggest Caravan, Camping and Motorhome show at the NEC. The awards recognise European partner campsites’ special commitment to our members. The winners were selected from a shortlist compiled by our experienced campsite teams and experts in the camping and caravanning industry, as well as feedback from all our members on the campsites popularity.
These awards celebrate the efforts made by our overseas partners, with each category having an overall winner and a highly commended runner-up.

Alan Rogers Overall Winner 2022
La Clusure (Club ref: H09)
Situated in lush countryside, on the banks of the river L’Homme in Belgium, a stay at La Clusure offers walking and fishing along the river banks as well as many fun activities on site. The brand new pool complex including a water slide and indoor pool will be a hit with all the family or take a dip in the shallow water of the river in the summer months.

Alannia Costa Blanca (Club ref: W05)
Set 15km inland from the Costa Blanca coastline in Spain, the Alannia Costa Blanca has a friendly atmosphere with cheerful, professional staff. It’s popular with members in low season, offering a range of facilities including a spa and gym with a variety of classes available. There's also a pool complex and an excellent restaurant as well as entertainment year-round.

Les Ormes, Domaine & Resort (Club ref: B08)
This large resort is set in the grounds of the Château des Ormes in Brittany, France and has everything active families could possibly hope for. There’s an 18 hole golf course and fishing on site, while the active and adventurous can try archery, paintball, climbing and even a treetop adventure course. Les Ormes, Domaine & Resort host a beautiful and impressive covered dome over the aqua park and wave swimming pool, and alongside there is an outdoor pool area.

Delftse Hout (Club ref: H06)
Just a short walk away from the picturesque town of Delft, Delftse Hout in the Netherlands is an excellent, family-oriented campsite is set next to a large lake and surrounded by a beautiful park. Offering the perfect balance between relaxation and activity, there is a small, heated pool and an adventure playground.

Le Coin Tranquille (Club ref: M05)
With many of its pitches offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, Le Coin Tranquille is a haven of peace and serenity for many a visitor. Well-placed for exploring the many châteaux and medieval towns nearby, the facilities onsite include a great pool complex with covered and outdoor pools, an excellent restaurant and a quiet reading room, as well as weekly entertainment for all ages in summer.

Located on the western tip of Lake Bled, this peaceful campsite is close to the water’s edge and is ideal for exploring the Slovenian countryside. Bled has so much on offer for families and those looking for an active holiday, with direct access to the lakefront beach and a range of water sports. Enjoy the onsite restaurant offering local Slovenian dishes.

Huttopia Noirmoutier (Club ref: A45)
Set on the island of Noirmoutier in France, with direct access to the beach, Huttopia Noirmoutier has been designed with the local environment in mind, which is owned by the forestry commission. It’s ideal for those looking for simplicity and tranquillity, with pitches situated among pine trees and on sand dunes overlooking the Baie de Bourgneuf.

Located in the Vézère Valley, Le Paradis-St Léon is well placed for local attractions such as the towns of Les Eyzies and Montignac. An ecologically friendly campsite with lots of green space, gives guests the feeling of tranquility. There's a strong focus on French culture, from the dishes served in the restaurant to the evening entertainment.

Lazy Rancho (Club ref: S01)
This immaculate campsite gives unique views of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau and is a paradise for walkers and cyclists. Nearby Lake Thun is an ideal spot to kayak, windsurf or bathe, and cruises are available for sightseers. The centre of Interlaken is 1.5km from Lazy Rancho, where the Unterseen district features a medieval church, pretty chalets and traditional restaurants.

Located between the Galtee Mountains and the forests of the Golden Vale, the Glen of Aherlow Caravan and Camping Park has an idyllic setting that provides a peaceful haven and stunning views. The traditional town of Tipperary is only 5km away and has plenty of amenities.

Lou P'tit Poun (Club ref: A39)
Set near to the resort of Bayonne, Lou P’tit Poun is ideal for a quiet, relaxing stay with local cycle paths nearby, one of which runs to the coast. There's also a free shuttle bus to and from the beach at Ondres during the peak summer months, where you can enjoy a range of watersport activities. On-site, the whole family can enjoy the new Aqua Park with its water slides and spa area.

Le Moulin de Bel Air (Club ref: C37)
This small campsite in rural France is perfect to get away from it all. Built around an 18th Century water mill, Le Moulin de Bel Air is suitated on the banks of the Ceou river surrounded by wooded hills. There's a small fishing lake nearby as well as a local village a short stroll away.

Natterer See (Club ref: G01)
The beautiful campsite in Austria provides ample opportunity for both activity and relaxation. With exceptional facilities, including a big, bouncy play structure on the lake for the kids, Natterer See is a perfect location for keen walkers, with footpaths leading directly from the campsite into Innsbruck, which is approximately 7km away.

Situated between Carnac and Vannes, Mané Guernehué is a large, modern campsite that is great for an active stay for all ages. There's an impressive pool complex with a lazy river, slides and a superb new kids' aqua park, a quiet lake for fishing and an onsite riding school. Venture a little further out and try water sports at the nearby beaches.

Situated between Montpellier and Nîmes, and adjacent to a family-owned vineyard, Le Domaine de Massereau is perfect for couples and young families looking for a peaceful stay. The campsite facilities include a restaurant, an excellent new pool complex with waterslides and balneotherapy.

Set in the beautiful Algarve location in Portugal, Turiscampo offers a fantastic range of facilities from an indoor heated pool, a modern gym, sauna, hammam and beauty treatments. Keen golfers can enjoy a round on one of the many courses, which have lovely views of the open countryside, vineyards, and coastline.

With direct access to the magnificent fine sandy beach, Kiko Park in Spain is ideal for water sports in the summer offering windsurfing, paddle boarding, fishing trips and jet skiing, amongst others. The campsite has its own pizzeria/cafe that is open all year, as well as their luxurious restaurant and Xirikiko beach bar open in selected summer months.

Pyrénées Natura (Club ref: D22)
Set in the wild and beautiful Val d’Azun at the edge of the Pyrénées Natural Park in France, Pyrénées Natura offers spectacular mountain views and a tranquil atmosphere in which to relax. There is a cosy restaurant, which has a log-burner in the colder months, that serves home cooked food for you to enjoy the local produce.

Les Saules is a friendly campsite in the heart of the Loire Valley in France and is ideal for nature lovers thanks to its abundance of wildlife. Over 50 species of birds can be spotted on the nature and fitness trail, and guests can also learn about the bees kept in the hives onsite. There is a pool complex (with accessible lift), a petanque area and a restaurant serving traditional food.
