What is the EU GDPR or European Union General Data Protection Regulation and how does this apply to the Club now that the UK has left the EU?

It is a European Union (EU) regulation on data protection and privacy that applies to all organisations processing the personal data of EU citizens.

Now that the UK has left the European Union, this regulation has been retained into UK domestic law, with some amendments, and is called the "UK GDPR". It sits alongside the Data Protection Act 2018, as the EU GDPR previously did, and applies to all organisations processing the data of UK citizens.
