Club App

Can I access all my current bookings in the new Club App?

Yes, you can access all of your current bookings in the new Club App. Simply click the my bookings button (either on the home screen at the top, or the person icon on the bottom of the screen), then click the "upcoming bookings" button.

Will I be able to amend or cancel my bookings via the new Club App?

Yes, you can amend or cancel your UK and European bookings (that do not contain a crossing) via the new Club App. Simply log into the app, and either select the "my bookings tab" at the top of the screen, or select the person icon in the bottom panel. Then, select a booking from the upcoming bookings tab and choose the "amend" or "cancel" options.

What is different about the New Club App compared to the UK Sites Booking App?

The new Club App is even more user friendly, and includes additional features and functionality over and above what the old Club App offered. You can search and book multiple UK or European campsites at the same time, use the new interactive map, check availability and prices using the calendar, view your previous and upcoming trips (and make amendments if necessary), review and make payments, plus access lots of other membership products and services such as trip inspiration, cover and insurance services and useful information. You can also access and use your Digital Membership Card via the app as well.

How do I download the New Club App?

The new Club App is free to download. Simply go to the App Store for your device, and search for either 'Caravan and Motorhome Club' or 'CAMC App". Once you see the app, install it to your device. Alternatively, you can visit our web page for more information which includes direct links to click on.

 

What will happen to the current UK Sites Booking App?

The old UK Sites Booking App is now unsupported, you won't be able to use it for bookings or to access any up to date information (such as pricing or availability). You should download the free new Club App instead, and uninstall the old UK Sites Booking App to free up space on your smartphone or tablet.

Can I use facial recognition or my fingerprint to sign into the Club App?

Yes, you can. If you log into the new Club App, you should get a pop up prompting you to enable biometric login, enable that, and you'll be able to quickly login in the future with either your face or fingerprint (whichever your device is set up to do). If you're already logged in, and don't get the pop up, go to the menu (three dots in the top right) and select the "Biometric Login" toggle, it will turn green and the toggle will move to the right in the 'on' position. You can turn off biometric login anytime but selecting the Biometric Login toggle and setting it to the 'off' position (greyed out and with the toggle to the left)

What are the benefits of the Digital Membership Card?

The Digital Membership Card is more accessible as it gives members instant access to their card within the app. This means members no longer need to wait for their physical card to arrive in the post. It is more secure, with a login required to download it. It also can’t be lost, stolen or damaged.
 
By only sending physical membership cards to those that require them also helps us on our journey of acting responsibly to protect the environment and the great outdoors.

How do I view my Digital Membership Card on my phone?

Download the Club App, login and click Membership Card.

Will I be able to display my Digital Membership Card if there is no signal?

In order for your digital membership card to work offline, please save it in your Apple or Andriod Wallet. To do this, just click the "Add to Wallet" button on the card. 

How secure is the Digital Membership Card?

Storing your card on your phone means it can’t be lost or stolen. There is added security as you will need to be logged into the app to display the Digital Membership Card and your membership is validated at the time of opening. Please be assured no payment details are stored on the app.

What should I do about my digital membership card if my phone is lost, damaged or stolen?

If your phone has been lost or damaged, you can put your Digital Membership Card on your new device by re-downloading the Club App. If you are worried someone has access to your Club App, please reset your password. You can reset your password here.

I’ve lost my physical membership card, how do I order a new one?

Rather than waiting for a new membership card to be sent in the post, you can get your membership card digitally in the Club App. Just download the app, login and click 'Membership card'. If you would still like to receive a replacement physical card, you can request it here. You will need to be logged in to order a replacement card.

Can I use my Digital Membership Card at Certificated Locations?

Yes, Digital Membership Cards are accepted at Certificated Locations.

Can I use my Digital Membership Card to redeem member offers?

Yes, all of our partners will accept the Digital Membership Card. The only exception is car manufacturers who will need to see the physical card to confirm the membership start date.

Can I use the Digital Membership Card for the Great Savings Guide?

Yes, all of our Great Savings Guide partners accept the Digital Membership Card.

Will the price of my membership reduce if I use the Digital Membership Card?

It doesn’t matter which membership card you use, the price of membership will remain the same. All membership subscriptions are used to reinvest into the Club to make improvements to Club products and services.

Are you going to stop issuing physical cards?

We will continue to give members the option to receive a physical membership card. If you need to order a card, you can request it here.

Can I save my membership card in my Apple or Andriod Wallet?

Yes! You can save your membership card in your Apple or Andriod Wallet by clicking the "Add to Wallet" button on your membership card within the Club App. As well as being easy to access, this will also ensure your membership card works offline.

Will I still receive a physical membership card?

Members are asked to request a card if they would like one which can be requested here.  By only sending physical membership cards to those that require them, it helps us on our journey of acting responsibly to protect the environment and the great outdoors.

Magazine

Which devices support The Caravan Club Magazine App?

The app is available to use on almost all smart phones and tablets, including Apple iPhones and iPads, and Android devices from the Google Play Store, such as Amazon Fire tablets, Huawei mobile phones or from the Samsung Galaxy range.

How much does the app cost?

The app is free to download. Club members can access the current and archived issues free of charge. When opening an issue, members will be asked to log in with their Caravan Club website email address and password (please note: being registered to use the ‘Club Together’ forum alone will not grant you access). Non-members will be prompted to purchase individual issues at £2.29 each but will not have access to the archive.

What happens if I choose not to renew my Caravan Club membership?

You will still have access to any issues you downloaded on to your device. You will no longer be able to access the complete archive or future issues free of charge.

Who do I contact with technical problems (pages not displaying correctly, frequent crashing etc)?

Who do I contact with questions about news and articles within the digital or printed magazine?

Please email magazine@camc.com.

Can I search the magazine for specific words or terms?

Yes. Once you have opened an issue, touching anywhere on the screen brings up the ‘Menu’ option (in the top right-hand corner).  Within the menu is the option to search. You can look for terms mentioned in the issue you are reading or the entire archive.

How do I get back to the ‘home’ page?

Touch the screen to reveal the ‘flatplan’ at the foot of the page and the ‘Menu’ bar at the top. Touch the ‘back’ arrow in the top left-hand corner to return to the home page.

How do I search for previously published articles from The Club Magazine on the app?

Open an edition. Touch the screen to reveal the 'flatplan' at the foot of the page and the 'Menu' icon in the top right-hand corner. Tap the 'Menu' icon to reveal the archive 'Search' facility.
