Travelling south

Nice clean and well maintained site but very difficult to locate your pitch, poor numbering and not very accurate map. Good place for a stop over in the summer in the summer. Lake very popular making the approach a little hairy!

Nice location by a lake

This site is in a national park on a pretty lake.  Also a convenient  location for a stopover.  The site has some quiet areas and some very busy areas.  It has good facilities for children with a swimming pool, bouncy castles and activities laid on.  Ablution facilities are good.  There is also a E LeClerc supermarket quite close.

Nice stopover site

Attractive site in lovely location ideal for a stopover en route to the south. Only spoiled by noisy party going on outside opposite caravan which went on till 2.30 am

Couple travelling with a dog

The site is well run and maintained with helpful staff. Pitches are clearly marked and super pitches are large. Troyes is a lovely place to visit, even in the rain, and the lake is beautiful and very close. It was quiet at 10.00 the first few nights but then noisy until about 11.30. There is a charge for dogs but nothing is provided for them, not even a dog bowl at the bar. There are places to exercise dogs just off site. The sanitary block was clean.

Don't forget the budgie smugglers! :)

Stayed here for an overnight going to Southern France and again coming back. Pitches had full service (which I wasn't expecting) - always nice to plug the water in and let the grey waste go on its own! Make sure you have plenty of piping though as the services are not exactly near to the caravan! Both our pitches were also surprisingly on the slant - had to pack and fully extend the legs which can be a leveling pain! Nice pool (but you need to wear 'tight' trunks!!!) and food was adequate....beer expensive (but we found that most places). The lake is stunning - especially at sunset. Couldn't stay there for more than a few days, but overall clean, tidy and nice area.

Great stopover, lovely site

We stayed here for a week a couple of years ago and decided to use again for a 2 night stay on our return from the cote d'azur a couple of weeks ago. Easy access from the motorways even with larger outfits. Site well maintained, big pitches especially the ones closest to the pool area. Good facilities for kids, lake is beautiful. However the onsite shop is a real let down, shelves almost empty, not even fresh milk! It was a good job I bought most of what we needed en route before arriving!! Wifi seems to work ok at the bar area (according to the kids anyway!) Overall a nice site in a lovely location, would use again as a stopover.

Great Stopover but will stay longer next time

We stayed for two nights (23rd and 24th July) en route to Switzerland and could very happily have stayed for longer. We were late arriving due to ferry chaos and reception were very helpful and understanding. The pool and slides entertained our two teenage boys for a while but the real gem was swimming in the lake. It is well managed, has a small beech and a roped off swimming area - absolutely perfect to cool off from the summer sun! The facilities on the campsite were very good, washroom clean and not overcrowded. The pitches were a decent size and the shop supplies fresh bread and croissants to order. Definitely worth staying for a few days extra next time.

First family trip to France

This was our first family trip to France with our two kids 11 & 13 years.  We found the site fantastic, it was clean and of high standards, the children and ourselves loved the pool area which was the perfect place to unwind,  The sites location to the lake gave an alternative option for cooling off, cycling in the area is safe and roads very quiet. A very good supermarket is located around 5k away towards Troyes which is perfect for stocking up on barbecue stuff and wine of course.  There are a few restaurants in the area but not many.  The on site shop provides a daily fresh bread and pastries service.  The location of the site is very easy to find and I would most certainly recommend it for families.  Can't wait to return

Middle aged Homers

We stopped here for 2 nights on the way to the French Alps and again on our return journey for a further 2 nights. Ideal for a stopover due to its close proximity to to the motorway or equally for a family holiday. Good atmosphere around the bar, restaurant and pool area. Very good clean and well maintained facilities.

Great stop over and nice facilities

Stopped here on the way to st tropez. Must say when we arrived as we booked as a stop over we were really pleased with facilities. Clean, modern facilities, along with great items for the kids, pools indoor and out, slides, play areas, bouncy castle etc. Shop on site and a bar, and restaurant/cafe.  Location on the edge of the forest and within seconds of the lakes.  Also it was great for a stop over as it is only 10 mins off the main motor way.  Many thanks and hope this is helpful.  Happy vanning all.
