Lovely site - very clean

We stayed 2 nights on route back towards Calais. Very clean toilets and showers, although perhaps the shower timers could be lengthened slightly. Very friendly and helpful lady at reception. Lovely area with about 4 restaurants in the village which is within walking distance (approx 600m). Plenty of play areas for children and the pool was nice, although as not supervised children throwing balls made it uncomfortable swimming. If anything the hedges could be a little lower. Although the privacy can be nice, they are getting to a height where the sun is also blocked out. We'd definitely recommend and stay here again. Be aware of the directions though and ensure if necessary you avoid the 3.5T weight limit river crossing with 3m height restriction too.

Nice site in lovely location

My wife and I are a retired couple and we stayed here for one week in our caravan in August. The location in the Seine valley is really beautiful and the campsite is very well organised with plenty of facilities for children. The only gripe we have is with the enclosed nature of the pitches, with high and thick hedges on three sides. We felt that these deterred social contact between campers.

We stayed here for only two nights - one outward - one return. Very pleasant site in a beautiful setting. Would stay here again but for longer so we could explore the area. The lady in reception is particularly helpful and speaks perfect English if you need it! Niggle 1 - the showers are on a timer which seems to last for just a few seconds unless you stand on one leg with your knee on the button! Niggle 2 - the washbasins don't have plugs, neither do the washing-up sinks so make sure you take your own. Overall, very enjoyable.

More than a quick stop off

Loved this site, individual pitches surrounded by hedges, very private. No midges even though it's set in the middle of a forest. Duclair is about 4m away and is lovely, set on the bank  of the Seine, there is a car ferry to cross the river  CC say it does not take motorhomes, but we saw many going on, Plan to visit Duclair  Not on Monday as it's mostly shut. Make sure you have a long lead as on some pitches you have to trail your lead across other pitches who then drive over it when they leave, a small niggle on a lovely site.

Quick stop overs

We stayed here for two nights in our motorhome, one at the beginning of our trip and one at the end.  The pitches are very good and well kept and feel very private with high hedges.  Facilities were very clean as you would expect.  We could order bread for the next morning which was great.  The small cafe had great food which you could eat at the outside tables by the small bar or take away to your pitch which is what we did.  All the staff were very friendly and welcoming.  Lovely walks around and there is the river and lakes not too far either that we explored too.  Would definitely visit again.  Just one negative, not sure if the kids got the wrong translation when they asked, but they were not allowed to use the pool it was for the static caravans only, but as we were only there for one night it was not too much of a problem.

Two night stay

Stopped over with our caravan on way to Loire Valley. This is a peaceful site in a rural location. it is handy for visiting Rouen and surrounding areas. We used park and ride to spend day in Rouen. You can walk into the village and visit the abbey ruins. There are shops and cafes also in walking distance.  The site itself is well run and friendly. Facilities were clean and typically french. One new block of showers etc and one smaller older one. The pool is small but clean, there is a bar and snack bar. Didn't try food but it looked good. We would like to return for a longer stay and explore more of the area.

Wish we could have stayed longer...

This was an overnight stop for us and we wish we could have stayed longer. The lovely smile that met us on our arrival was just wonderful. The site is lovely, big wide pitches, and the toilet and shower block is as one would expect on a site such as this. The area is charming and we would love to have had the time to explore. Without a doubt we will return and stay longer and would certainly recommend this site. What a little gem.

What a gem

What a gem. Would loved to have stayed longer, very well looked after site. Very well laid out with hedges surrounding each pitch, clean modern shower/toilet blocks and lovely indoor pool. A snack bar was opened during the day/evening so handy if you have just arrived and need refreshments. The owners very welcoming and friendly/helpful. There is a Sunday market next door to the site, which is huge selling everything you could think of. Close to the village of Jumieges which is so pretty and typically French, where you can go into the Abbey ruins which are still very impressive. A carrefour and Lidl also Esso garage are a few miles down the road for those essential supplies.  We spent a day in Duclair which is 4.5km away, absolutely stunning it sits along the bank of La Seine, with lots of local shops, cafes  and also a market which is held beside a mountain water stream that ran into the Seine . We will be going back as used this site as a stop over on our travels, and would love to spend more time exploring the area. As I've said a real gem and can highly recommend.
