Friendly and welcoming. Lots of facilities for the kids such as a great play area, nice swimming pools and bouncy castle. Nice clean and tidy site. Short distance from Calais’s ferry terminal and it has a big supermarket and petrol station just around the corner. Not sure if there is much more to do in this area as I have only ever stayed one night.
Excellent Site close to Calais
We have just spent 10 nights on this excellent site - On arrival we were quickly checked in by friendly reception staff, our pitch was very spacious, slightly sloping and fairly close to the shower and toilets.
The toilets and showers were always clean, with plenty of hot water - the push button showers were no problem plenty of water pressure gave a nice powerful shower.
We bought bread and croissants most morning from the baker who visits every morning from 08:00 to 09:00, there is no shop onsite, but a Carrefour supermarket with fuel is a 2 minute drive away (Turn left out of main entrance and it is directly across the roundabout).
We had 3 children in our party and they all had a great time making full use of the 2 swimming pools and the football pitch, they made some great friends.
The site is well looked after, clean and tidy with very nice staff who are always on hand if needed.
There was always plenty of activity with the comings and goings of the one nighters, but this never caused any issues for us.
As others have mentioned this site is great for longer stays - it's a pity that so many simply pass through on their way South, or back to the ferry.
Calais is an easy 25 minute drive, and there is plenty to do and see in the area.
Did not use the restaurant, so can't comment - however some of our party used the takeaway and did not rate the food - apparently frozen supermarket Pizza's and chips.
No real negatives to report - great well looked after site in a nice area
First class site
Excellent site, great pools and lots of things to keep the kids happy, really good pitch size, lots of room, bar and restaurant very good, no shop but supermarket only 3 minutes away, staff were very pleasant and helpful, only stayed three nights but could quite as easily made it a week, very good location with loads of places to see, we will definitely be going back again soon, would recommend this site
Nice place not only for a stop over
Very nice impression entering the site. We announce our stay via email. Nice pitches, clean toilet facilities. We agree on the ratings of the other guests. Recommendable.
Must Stay Longer
Lovely site spotless facilities, good restaurant bar and takeaway, lots of shade and good wooded walks for the dog, good easily accesible motorhome service point, all in all hard to fault.
This is the second or third time in using the site mainly to and from the Eurotunnel, and really do need to spend a few days here and explore the area more.

July 2018 - 4 night stay
Very friendly welcome when we arrived after a long drive from the Alsace.
Pitched in an area with other UK caravans.
Pitches were well kept and water (shared between about 10 vans) was readily available.
The toilet blocks were very clean although the toilets themselves could have been better lit.
Bins in a central area but kept clean and they appeared to get emptied on a regular enough basis.
Didn't use the pool but it looked clean and there was a play area for children adjacent with a bouncy castle. The play area was a in a separate area near the restaurant area and also had tennis courts, basketball etc?
The restaurant was clean, had a decent choice and was reasonable value for money.
There was a security guard who patrolled the site at night which was quite reassuring.
Areas visited included Dunkirk which really could do better with the history it has. We also had a day up in Bruges, about an hour away and well worth the journey as it is a lovely old canalled city. On our return from Bruges we went via Ypres to visit the Menen Gate where there is a ceremony each evening at 8pm commerating those who died in the war, it was well worth the visit too.
Another good couple of hours were spent at the Eperleques Blockhaus an old German bunker built to launch V1's and V2's during WW2. Its only about a mile from the site and easy to either cycle or walk.
We were going to Zeebrugge for the Hull ferry and that was as easy alternative to Calais where most visitors to the site appeared to be heading.
Would definitely recommend this site, its a good one !!
Fabulous site
Stayed recently for 3 nights and it was practically the best site we stayed at (out of the 10 sites we used in northern France). Only surpassed by Camping Village de la Plage (on a fantastic beach & part of the Yelloh group of campsites).
The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Lovely swimming pools. Very clean toilet/shower facilities (separate womens & mens - a rarity on our trip!).
Julien on reception was exceptionally friendly, helpful and efficient. Speaks fluent English and helped us to book our dog into a local vet. Had already arranged for our large motorhome to go onto a hard standing pitch given all of the rain/storms recently experienced in France.
Very good restaurant and takes dogs too.
Going forwards, we will always use this site on our return from our overseas trips.
Very civilised journey (about 20 miles) back to the shuttle.
Visited this site again - lovely as always
Stayed (by no means the first time) here for a 1 night stopover during the school summer holidays. Toilets and wash/shower facilities were as always clean and nice to use. Plenty of hot water, toilet paper provided (not a given in France), lovely grass pitch (some require levelling blocks), and most importantly very friendly English speaking staff in reception. Nice and quiet and a super place to stay. Supermarket with 24/7 fuel station a few mins drive down the road. I cannot think of anything I would like to change or improve in this site. We love it and will visit again for sure.
Always a pleasure
I have stopped here many times. I originally stopped at this site on the way back from Europe due to the location, however, I stop here now because of the great pitches, friendly check in, helpful staff, nice bar and good food. The washrooms and facilities are always well maintained and clean. Will probably book direct next time as I am not always exactly sure of arrival date and Caravan Club penalties apply if insufficient notice given.
Loved It!
Stayed here for 3 nights on our way back to the Euro tunnel and we were really pleased with it. Lovely and clean, grass cut, restaurant with lovely food nice swimming pool and table tennis. Great bouncy castle for the kids and train to climb on. Julian on reception couldn't have been more helpful even sent us details of the beaches dogs were allowed on. Great laundry and lovely woodland walks for the dog. You must visit the blockhaus which is a short drive from here it is unbelievable and eery. Would definitely stay again, most people are British on their way out or way home.
