Tv bollard problems
We have visited this site several times over the years, our last being over the May BH weekend. We didn't notice people leaving early but were frustrated with members allowing their children to scream, shout and run riot whilst they drank till late. The showers are older than some and mostly small but well maintained and clean. The site is well kept. Dog owners seem to think it's ok in a morning to let their pooches out unsupervised to relieve themselves leaving whatever for others to paddle in! But our biggest moan is the tv bollard (and I gather we weren't alone). It was broken and meant our signal was variable. Thankfully, as we carry a tool kit we were able to get a signal with a bit of careful manipulation. The next day it went off altogether. When we spoke to the warden they said all was fine, suggested we retune and the warden would come when he'd finished his job but he never came. Thankfully the signal did return as it turned out it had been turned off by workmen on site. Can recommend the quarry behind the site for dog walking off lead. It's been developed over recent years making an interesting open space which just needs time to develop. Lovely site, we'll be back
