First Motorhome Trip
As this was our first trip away in the motorhome we didn’t want to go too far away from home. I contacted the site prior to our visit to ask if we could leave earlier on our departure date and Stuart the site ‘manager’ said that wouldn’t be a problem at all. Once we arrived a lovely lady greeted us at the gate and gave us clear instructions as what to do. I couldn’t believe how organised and tidy the site was. My husband used the toilets and commented on how clean and well maintained they were. The other visitors we came across and spoke to were very friendly and considering how many visitors were there the site was peaceful. As we had to take our little dog, we didn’t venture far as he’s not very good with other dogs or men in particular (hence him wearing his yellow ‘I need space’ jacket)! He behaved as best he could! We walked into Grassington which is a nice walk even via the roads. Without the dog we would have probably sampled the local pub food and drink as there are a couple not too far from the site. Our only complaint was the intermittent rain! Although it was still warm.
I would highly recommend this site with its welcoming and friendly staff and we will definitely return. Thank you.
