Another great stay at this wonderful Site. This is our favourite part of the Country. Friendliness Wardens we have come across on the Club network. Very informative, helpful and keep the Site immaculate. Excellent dog walk onsite and off, could just do with a few more dog fouling signs, and information especially just outside the bottom gate. Great atmosphere & food at the gamekeeper Inn on the Long Ashes Park. The Old Hall in Threshfield has great food too. Very handy Spa shop down the road. Walked to the Fountain pub in Linton along the river, such a beautiful quiet place with an excellent pub. Grassington a good 40 minute walk either along the river or up the road. Excellent pubs and cafes. Everywhere dog friendly. Only 1 gripe was Motorhomes facing wrong way. Their door was straight facing ours so little privacy . Could hear all their conversations so they would have heard all ours.
Summer break in Yorkshire
What hard working wardens the site is a credit to this hard work and the toilet block is immaculate.
We first met Bev and Mel at Dunnet Bay last year and were impressed at how well they kept that very busy site and when they told us they were moving to Wharfedale we were determined to pay them a visit and were not disappointed!
A wet but lovely stay
We stayed at Wharfedale site for 10 days. It rained and rained, but we still enjoyed the wonderful countryside and the beautiful villages. We especially enjoyed Parcevall Hall in a very quiet valley, with lovely gardens and a babbling stream, also the Old School Room cafe at Hebden. The wardens were so friendly and helped us a couple of times. The facilities were kept spotlessly clean. Well done to the wardens for all their hard work.

And relax...
Just back from a long weekend at wharfedale, a wonderful experience. We got a very warm welcome from the (ScouseAfrican) wardens, who were helpful and friendly to all throughout our stay. (We got to see them working a great deal as our pitch was near the reception, right by the dog walk which was perfect for us.).
As mentioned in other reviews many pitches are sloping so take blocks, but they are a good size and the site has a spacious feel to it. Threshfield and Grassington are within easy walking distance, plus there are enjoyable walks along the river Wharf down to Linton and Burnsall. Further north there’s a 5 minute drive to Kilnsey, and the Tennant arms pub, which is superb.
This site and the staff are a credit to the Caravan & Motorhome club, spotlessly clean, quiet, relaxed and an absolute tonic.
We’ll be back, hopefully on pitch 116 again, and thanks to all we met and chatted with, was lovely to meet you all!
Great bank holiday weekend
Great long weekend in Grassington and Skipton. Lots to explore in the surrounding areas, would recommend Malham Cove and Janet's foss nice 5 mile walk back to the village.
Wharfedale Site is kept immaculate with spotlessly clean large shower/toilet facilities. Unfortunately the pitches are very un-level so ramps and blocks of wood and definitely required, we didn't see many caravans who didn't needs them.
The site is in a nice location to the Dales and the Spar shop is very handy just down the road and stocks most items. The 2 lady wardens were very friendly and helpful plus couldn't do enough to welcome everyone, the 3rd warden who drives around on his little tractor, well i'll say no more and let you form your own opinion!!
Would recommend this site and will be returning at some point.
Just lovely
A lovely site in a beautiful area. Immaculate toilet and shower facilities. Very welcoming wardens. Good shortcut from the bottom of the site into Threshfield and onto Grassington without having to walk on the road. Handy but slightly expensive Spar with deli and butchers at the nearby petrol station. Did not experience any speeding drivers. Lots of dogs including ours but didn’t witness any dog fouling on the site. A pleasure to stay will definitely return.
Common courtesy
Fab few nights spent on this immaculate site. Amazingly clean shower block and wardens very friendly and helpful. However I always thought it was common courtesy to not walk across peoples pitches. All 3 roads lead up to the shower block but people insist on cutting through, particularly through the one we were on. Why? Rant over but would park on the edge next time.

Great site
I have visited this site a number of times and keep coming back , love the location and the ease of access to the dales .
The facilities are great and the showers and toilet facilities are exceptionally clean and well maintained.
Highly recommended,

Lovely site
Spent 3 nights at this lovely site in May. Pitches were nicely spaced out and thevfacilities spotlessly clean. The Gamekeeper Inn was a short walk away but was very busy when we called in for a drink. There is a regular bus service about a 15 minute walk away in Threshfield, which we caught to Skipton where we spent a lovely day browsing round the market and quaint shops. Our trip coincided with the Tour De Yorkshire so we watched this fabulous race go by. It is an easy walk into Grassington, approx half hour walk, where there are more lovely shops and plenty of eating places. All in all a lovely site, we will return.
Loved our stay....
Stayed here for the first time this past week and we will certainly be back in the future. The site is lovely and kept immaculate by the hard working wardens who, are welcoming, cheerful, dedicated and will go the extra mile to help if you have any problems.
The only negatives were irresponsible dog owners who don't clean up after the dogs leave it for the wardens, (we do have dogs)
A long with the speeding drivers, The speed limit is there for a reason and applies to EVERYONE!
