We arrived approx 19:45 after being held up in a road traffic accident on M8 and roadworks on A74 The wardens could not have been more helpful and once they knew our travelling companions were first time motor homers they took even more time with them Once we got settled in/hooked up the wardens again took the time to come round to ensure Bobby and Maureen had got water/electricity and where happy with the pitch Toilet/shower block is first class and was kept immaculate during our stay We toured Ullswater/Windemere/Thirlmere/Keswick and Penrith during our 3 day stop On departure the 4 wardens again took the time to ask how Bobby and Maureen had got on Probably the cheeriest and most helpful 4 wardens on any site we have visited
