ENJOYABLE STAY.

What a wonderful site for the time of year. We found plenty to keep ourselves busy. The wardens were up to the usual standard which you expect (1st class) The WI-FI was a bit iffy but that's not unusual as I have witnessed over the last few months. It can only get better.

Sandringham

Had a lovely stay just got back after staying for four nights. Walked up to Sandringham House had something to eat you must try the cafe does lovely meals , bought some of there yummy jams and pickles as well as some plants , quite a few shops there now. Hunstanton was a bit quiet but its still early in the year. Nice to see the wardens from Top Lodge there they are retiring in a few weeks time lovely couple we wish you well. Site is immaculate as usual .

Let it Snow!

Just back from a 4 night stay at this lovely site. We start our touring every year at Sandringham, but this was the earliest trip yet. The weather was crisp and cold and it even snowed as we walked through the woods on day one - very evocative. Wardens were their usual friendly selves - there if needed but not obtrusive. Site was clean and well maintained. We visited Hunstanton, Norfolk Lavender at Heacham, Holkam Beach, Wells and Titchwell RSPB. Overall - a great start to 2015.

Sandringham in the snow.

We arrived just as the office was closing, but as we`d pre-booked there was no problem. We were welcomed  and given a card to enter and exit the site, a set of rules and map of the site. We drove off and chose our pitch.  The site is clean, showers lovely and toilets good. I appreciated the free hair dryer. The environment was nice, with trees around the site. Although it snowed overnight, the warden was out and about early putting down sand and gravel. Thank you. We enjoyed our stay and will use this site again.

Our first but not our last

This was our very first overnight stay in our motorhome. We are completely new to this game but found some very helpful people. The site itself was wonderful the toilet & shower block spotlessly clean. We will certainly return again. We only stayed 2 nights couldn't get tv signal but didn't care.  If this site is anything like othe CC sites I can't wait to go to them ....also return to this one

Nice Break

We have just returned from a few days on this site and despite the awful weather enjoyed it all. Lovely site, clean facilities, friendly helpful staff always with a smile. Very quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended for a walking holiday.

First visit

Our first visit to this site, probably won't be the last. Lovely welcome from friendly and helpful wardens...there are some that could take a lesson or two from these! Usual excellent CC site facilities. I had to give it 4 stars for "Good for families", the children's play area looked fine though thankfully it was empty during our stay!  Lovely walk straight out the site into Sandringham Park and up to the visitor centre etc.   As I said I'm sure we'll be back but probably "out of season" again. Everything still has to be lined up like little soldiers though.......come on CC, lighten up! Depending on the layout of your van/Motorhome it may be preferable to drive on to your pitch instead of reversing on .....and, dare I say it, setting up sideways on.  Does it really make a ha'p'orth of difference?

Exploring the Royal estate

We loved the site with its rural setting amongst the forest of Shandrinhan. The hard standing sites were level and well spaced out. As the site is in the confines of the Royal estate it is a real pleasure to be able to walk into such an emence area with such diversity of fawned and flora. It was also great to be able to walk right to the Visitors centre and enjoy a hot meal and a beer without the need for driving.  The facilities on site were very clean and up to the best of the club standards although as it was January the site was no where near capacity. We enjoyed watching the birds, rabbits and squirrels which were always around on site. The site is very well suited for nearby beaches and National Trust properties so I would recommend it for anything from a weekend to full summer holiday stay.

We'll be back...

Our first visit here and it won't be our last. Lovely site, warm welcome and great facilities.  Would have been 5 stars across the board except for the location next to the road and the (slight) noise that can come from there.  One piece of advice for those going up to the Visitor Centre - leave early if you are walking - there's a lot to fit in if you are visiting Sandringham House/Garden/Museum as well.  We didn't and will be back to do this next time.  Mind you the walks around the estate were fantastic in themselves.

Excellent Site

Recently returned from our first visit to this site and have just booked another stay for nine days early February. Excellent site for us (two adults + two terriers) - can't really add to that !
