Brilliant site

We've just started our 2nd year of caravaning, this was our second visit to this lovely site, just spent 2 nights here (our first visit we did 7 nights), the wardens were very helpful, site spotless as was the toilet block, we didn't know before we went that there was a craft & food fair at sandringham so was a nice visit to the fair even though weather on the Saturday wasn't that good it was still a good fair, will definitely be coming back as on both occasion's the scenic drive at sandringham was closed, I know that on our first visit the queen was there as we actually saw her so I presume that there was some royals there again this time ( I did hear that Willam & Kate are there), so maybe this is why the scenic drive was closed again, fingers crossed next time we go we will be able to drive through the scenic route.

Just a weekend

Our first stay at this lovely site. The staff were very polite and helpful. Although we only stayed two nights being situated in our favourite county of Norfolk we were spoilt for choices of where to go....with Hunstanton always being on the list of places to visit. The site was very well maintained and clean although some dog owners think that the dog-walking area cleans itself. Surrounded by woodland with just the sound of birds singing and Owls hooting, it was a very enjoyable weekend. A highly recommended site.

Dog walkers beware!

A lovely weekend at Sandringham as usual. However a note of caution for dog walkers. We decided to try a walk in some different woods, which are on the other side of the main road from the site. (Head through the woods towards the social club, and then cross the road to Hunstanton, and walk to the right towards Hunstanton.) These woods are not fenced and there are no 'Private' signs. We followed a path down through the woods and then looped round to the right back towards the main road again through the woods. The stretch back to the main road is lethal for dogs. At every single animal track to the right of the path, there is a snare, just at the right height to catch a dog.

Strictly wake up calls.

Had a very nice 5 night stay at the Sandringham site, our first time staying on the site and have not stayed in the area for many years. Found it a very pleasant place and area. Great bus service with even a stop at the site entrance plus one close by on the main road from Kings Lynn the A149, just a 8 min's walk from the top part of the site, follow signs to the Babingley social club and catch the No 10 or 35. From outside the entrance you can catch the No 11 route into KL or on to the coast at Hunstanton from the bus station in Hunstanton you can catch the round the coast bus to Cromer. You can get a bus timetable from on the bus or in KL's tourist office We went as far as Wells next the sea on the bus and had some very nice if what we felt was expensive fish & chips in Wells sitting outside on the harbour wall cost was £13 for two.Loverly walks from the site in the forests and along to Castle Rising to the very quaint tea shop called Unique . As normal on CC sites the toilet block was super clean with a good supply of hot water. Warden on arrival and departure was very friendly so all in all a good stay apart from the pigeons dancing on our roof every morning sounded like they were in training for "Strictly" and we were not the only one who had this problem most people got this as a wake up call every morning, hope something can be done about the number of pigeons. Dread to think of the state of the van roofs they have left deposits on.

First time visitors

This site is set in lovely surroundings, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The pitches are well spaced and the whole site was very well maintained. Dog friendly areas.  This site is central to Hunstanton, Kings Lynn, Cromer and Sherringham.  It has a host of nearby attractions. This local fish and chip van visits the site. Would recommend this site and will definitely be visiting again.

A Really Stuffy Site

Such a pity that a magnificent site was restricted to only half the site and all the caravans squashed in like a bank holiday Monday. I know it was out of season but those not wishing to use the toilet blocks should be allowed to pitch where they want, well away from other caravans if that is what they prefer.

First caravanning experience.

We arrived on Sunday afternoon the reception staff were very helpful and friendly they gave us one or two hints and showed us how things in the van worked when we got in a muddle. We even managed to get the awning up without any major problems, even though it was blowing a gale. (A good sense of humour is not a bad thing).  We found the area very relaxing and enjoyable plenty of walks with miles and miles of beaches to enjoy. Unfortunately her majesty was out so we didn't get invited to the big house and she couldn't come over for tea, still there's always next time! We would recommend this site and the area as a must visit place. Excellent for our first time.
