Strictly wake up calls.

Had a very nice 5 night stay at the Sandringham site, our first time staying on the site and have not stayed in the area for many years. Found it a very pleasant place and area. Great bus service with even a stop at the site entrance plus one close by on the main road from Kings Lynn the A149, just a 8 min's walk from the top part of the site, follow signs to the Babingley social club and catch the No 10 or 35. From outside the entrance you can catch the No 11 route into KL or on to the coast at Hunstanton from the bus station in Hunstanton you can catch the round the coast bus to Cromer. You can get a bus timetable from on the bus or in KL's tourist office We went as far as Wells next the sea on the bus and had some very nice if what we felt was expensive fish & chips in Wells sitting outside on the harbour wall cost was £13 for two.Loverly walks from the site in the forests and along to Castle Rising to the very quaint tea shop called Unique . As normal on CC sites the toilet block was super clean with a good supply of hot water. Warden on arrival and departure was very friendly so all in all a good stay apart from the pigeons dancing on our roof every morning sounded like they were in training for "Strictly" and we were not the only one who had this problem most people got this as a wake up call every morning, hope something can be done about the number of pigeons. Dread to think of the state of the van roofs they have left deposits on.

First time visitors

This site is set in lovely surroundings, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The pitches are well spaced and the whole site was very well maintained. Dog friendly areas.  This site is central to Hunstanton, Kings Lynn, Cromer and Sherringham.  It has a host of nearby attractions. This local fish and chip van visits the site. Would recommend this site and will definitely be visiting again.

Second visit to this lovely clean site, staff very helpful. Sandringham estate nearby has lovely walks and an excellent restaurant. We will certainly visit again.

A Really Stuffy Site

Such a pity that a magnificent site was restricted to only half the site and all the caravans squashed in like a bank holiday Monday. I know it was out of season but those not wishing to use the toilet blocks should be allowed to pitch where they want, well away from other caravans if that is what they prefer.

First caravanning experience.

We arrived on Sunday afternoon the reception staff were very helpful and friendly they gave us one or two hints and showed us how things in the van worked when we got in a muddle. We even managed to get the awning up without any major problems, even though it was blowing a gale. (A good sense of humour is not a bad thing).  We found the area very relaxing and enjoyable plenty of walks with miles and miles of beaches to enjoy. Unfortunately her majesty was out so we didn't get invited to the big house and she couldn't come over for tea, still there's always next time! We would recommend this site and the area as a must visit place. Excellent for our first time.

Another visit

Our second winter visit to this site, early January this time. Very good and easy walk to the Sandringham Estate where there lots of other options for exploring. Bikes are not permitted on the walk though which means access to most places via the road direct from the campsite. Great location to be able to visit the North Norfolk coast.

Birthday Escape.

This site was an ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of every day life. peaceful and quiet. we found the wardens to be very amiable and accommodating. We visited at end of February and were able to leave the site at our leisure mid afternoon rather than rush off late morning which is often the case. we appreciated the wardens flexibility. Toilet and shower blocks clean and more than satisfactory. beautiful location with super walks and places to visit nearby. Although the site was clean and well maintained it was a pity that the woodland walk directly out of the site was a walking minefield as we tried to avoid dog fouling on the path. such a pity that people obviously don't behave responsibly and clean up after their pets. this however is not a negative reflection on the site but as it was directly adjacent it may be worth noting that people need to be observant! We will definitely return as its very convenient for us and easy to access.

Meeting family

I arranged to meet my Cousin and family at the Caravan site, as I have done many times before.  The site is clean and tidy and facilities are good for all the family.  I am able to take my family to many sightseeing places around and a good time is always had by all, but, where was the lovely mobile fish/chip van on half-term Friday!  It is usually this time of the year the family meet and eat.  However, all was not lost as the mobile van was on the Caravan & Camping site next door the following evening.  I will agree with a previous Review that there is one Warden that really is ready to move on but for the most part we have always found them friendly and accommodating and the family love coming here.

a peaceful haven

Visited here in February and we're delighted with the site and its location. Easy to walk dog from site (but beware in Autumn as seasonal canine illness) and facilities excellent and kept spotless. Very easy to access North Norfolk coast from here. The Budgens in Dersingham is good and sells those fab Eat meals

great site fantastic location

A really good site would certainly recommend.  We will be back  when the house is open so we can vist house and gardens. As always Caravan club sites are kept in A1 condition.  On a personal note I would like to say that we do not use toilets and showers on any site but still have to pay the  price? I would like to see a system like abroad were you have to have tokens to use the facilities.  That way you only pay if you use.Now been iin retirement we have watch the pennies.
