Love this site, have just returned from our 3rd stay this year. The site is immaculately maintained, the facilities spotless clean and the daily cleaning is done in the afternoon, perfect when on a short break when looking for a relaxing weekend, can have a lie in and leisurely breakfast without having to clock watch. The wardens offer a warm friendly welcome and always ready to help, advice or just chat.
Situated in the Sandringham Estate there is plenty to do for everyone. Nice walks (we walked to the house and enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Visitors Centre), locally plenty to do with the North Norfolk coast within easy access.
We will definitely be returning soon.
Great Site - Five Stars
Great site; perfect location. Exceptionally well maintained throughout and very accessible. Facilities excellent. I don't do television, certainly not while caravanning, so can't comment on TV reception. Internet was available but a bit on the slow side, but mobile signal was good with a 3G signal all of the time and a 4G some of the time.
Wardens and staff extremely helpful. Typically British mix of friendliness with the right degree of discretion and respect for privacy from staff and fellow campers. Nice mix of families and couples of all ages.
Looked over the neighbouring Camping and Caravanning Club site, which is just a stroll through the woods ( we're members of both), but the C&CC site seemed a lot noisier, mostly on account of the occupants of their "lodge" style holiday homes rather than touring 'vans and motorhomes. On our next visit we would still choose the CC site rather than the C&CC over the way.
Great site for sea & country walks
First time on this site good place to give norfolk a viewing , nice wardens v,clean site. Loo blocks cleaned pm. Good idea..hunstanton / heachem 6 mile away for sea sun & fun or forest walks to hand, sandringham house (charged) v.near but the royal used church a freebie..we spent more time in wells nxt sea & blakney etc and even stretched to cromer & sheringham.. good base site for all these locations.. even ( flew!) Over to raf marham for a day of plane spotting .. enough easily for our time there ..

October Break
Just returned from 5 nights at Sandringham estate Club site.
This was our first visit to the site but will not be our last.
The site is set in woodland just a short 30 mins walk from Sandringham House,Well worth the walk.
The wardens are friendly and very helpful, the facilities are clean and tidy as is the site itself.
Chip shop van visits this site 3 nights a week and the Haddock and chips were cooked whilst we waited and prices @£6.30.

Brilliant site, the staff was very friendly and helpful site immaculately clean cannot fault it loved ever minute of our stay, will book here again. Television reception was poor but with the booster cable we had it was OK. No WiFi logged into the caravan club site WiFi but no luck there but that was not important. Enjoyed the Fish and chip van, pizza van and gourmet burger van that came round that was a bonus not having to cook the food from these vans were great. Loved every minute of our stay a big thank you to the staff they were great. xxxx

Television reception is joke, technology is available to rectify, caravan club also have adequate resources to rectify the problem, also WiFi is to expensive and unreliable, club has adequate resources to provide free WiFi, some pitches need levering, not enough space left for car if pitched to site rules, great idea to clean toilets in afternoon, site very tidy and clean

Very poor TV reception spoils a lovely site.
TV reception is extremely poor. We struggled to get a stable signal on most channels and wasted holiday time re-tuning then trying to connect to other bollards, then using our roof mounted aerial horizontally and vertically. We had noticed comments on other reviews but didn't appreciate how difficult it would be. A clear reminder from staff to every visitor would save many people going through the same performance.
That is the only downside to a wonderful site. Everything else is approaching perfection. Highly recommended.
Lovely site
A nicely kept site with friendly wardens. We visited with our 2 dogs for the weekend of the Game & Country Fair. We found there was plenty of warnings of Seasonal Canine Illness, so we purposely didn't walk our dogs in the woodland.
Sadly a family chose to allow their dog to wander around off lead and our Labrador was attacked without warning. Sadly spoilt our weekend but we'll be back next year.

Not a site we would return to!
We have just spent a week on this site. The location is great and we received a warm welcome from the wardens. However, we were delayed on our journey and so didn't arrive until 4.30. There was only one hard-standing pitch left by this time which was very uneven. When we looked round the site later, we noticed that most of the pitches were uneven. This is not a cheap site to stay on and I feel that more could be done about this. The toilet block that we used was rather tired and outdated and only had 3 showers for such a busy site. However, the worst thing was the woodpigeons which were an absolute nuisance. They were constantly landing on the car and the caravan from early in the morning onwards and both ended up full of droppings. All in all, it is not a site that we would return to!
