Well Run Site

This site, as always for a C&MC site is very well laid out and the wardens are polite, helpful and obviously hard working keeping the facility in such a good condition. Unfortunately during our stay the toilet block had to be closed down due to a sewage issue, the wardens were very responsive and full facilities were restored by the following day. It would appear that this problem has previously occurred. Bus stops are literally outside the site gates heading either into Hunstanton or Kings Lynn, an hourly service that was very punctual. During our stay the local mobile fish and chip van arrived, very nice indeed and seemed to be well used by the members. Beautiful surroundings and some lovely walks and trails to be ventured on. I can see why this is such a popular site, well worth a visit.

Excellent site

A great site that is up to usual CaMh club standards. Located nicely for Sandringham house and the wash nature reserve, great for kids and spotlessly clean. Recomended!!

Excellent site

As usual this site is excellent, all aspects could not be better. All the wardens were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It remains one of our favourite sites

Great Location

One of our favourite sites in the U K and make an annual trip to enjoy this location which we have done for the last 14 years Great location for exploring the North Norfolk coast, the wild life is to be enjoyed, or just great locations for walking and cycling. Kings Lynn has all the major outlets, just a quarter of an hour away.

Top Half of site was closed but plenty of pitches to chose from,as we had a dog the walks were great in different directions.toilet block was very clean. I must say the staff were very accommodating which made our stay . The site is clean and tidy, will defiantly be coming back.

Another 4 days at the favorite site. Easy access to the woods with the dog, Sandringham centre and sunny hunny beach. Great place to be located. Always welcoming and friendly

Lovely, yet again!

We’ve just returned from a week long stay at this wonderful site. Great wardens with lovely smiley faces every time we saw them. Facilities spotless and - wonder of wonders....the toilet blocks closed in the afternoons for cleaning. Brilliant! Lovely ‘Thoughts for the day’ on the blackboards, very different super planted arrangements...we had a great time and didn’t want to leave. See you again soon!

Lovely site nestled in Sandringham Woods.

Lovely clean site with helpful wardens. We brought the wrong spanner for the gas bottle and had to borrow one from the wardens tool kit. The only minor niggle is that mobile phone reception is very poor or there is no signal at all. The site is in the middle of some large woods though and it was quite nice not to have the stupid phone beeping all the time. There is a fish and chip van than comes in the evening on some nights with a sign near the wardens office telling you when they are next there. The site has several footpaths into the woods from the site. One takes you to a social club and another to Sandringham House. On our first day it was raining quite heavily so wellies and waterproofs were needed for walking in the woods. We still had a lovely walk and there were not many other people out so it was lovely and quiet. The dogs loved the woods and did not care at all about getting a bit wet. The second day we took a short drive up to Holme next the Sea nature reserve and walked in to Hunstanton along the coast. Dog heaven! Would we go back to this site? Yes definately and probably will.

Lovely site

Just back from our 4th stay this year. Love this site. Lovely wardens always happy to help and chat, love the chalk boards ‘daily thoughts for the day’. Well maintained and always kept very tidy. Toilets and showers spotlessly clean - one side are ‘old’ style other newer add on, maybe ready for an update especially as site is open all year. Nice to have 2 toilet blocks and cleaning later in the day which is great. Nothing to do with the site but was disappointed to find that Sandringham House has closed at short notice a week earlier so we didn’t get to visit. Thank you lovely wardens see you soon.

Lovely Sandringham

Back from a lovely week at this site. Had not visited for for a couple of years, not disappointed, site still up to a high standard, agree with some comments about shower block being tired, but very clean tidy and well maintained. The staff are very friendly, helpful, love the quotes every morning on the board. We were lucky enough to get that beautiful weekend. Won’t leave it so long next time, love that part of Norfolk.
