Loved it here. Quiet and peaceful. Views over the sea, coastal, cliff top walks to St Agnes, Trevaunance Cove, Chapel Porth etc. Walks up and around the Beacon. No shower/toilet block facilities other than Laundry/Info room but but no problem - we just used our own and price pn reflects this. Pizza and Fish & Chips vans weekly which was a nice surprise. Daily newspapers can be ordered. Friendly, helpful wardens. Ideal for dog owners - perhaps not so much for children.
Another Excellent Visit
St Agnes is our favourite site on the whole network. We are a family and love the space the site has for our children to safely explore. The facilities are just right for us!
The location is what makes this site. The view alone is worth double the pitch fee especially as we are able to pitch facing it. Some days you are able to see St Ives but be warned that the mist comes off the sea meaning you sometimes miss the view.
Our recommendation is to go to the Skate Park at Mounthawke on a wet day. The childrens sessions are £5 for the whole morning. Also make sure you check out the caves at Chapel Porth when the tide is low, they are amazing.
The seasonal club members are really helpful and friendly, letting you into the secrets of the area.
If you are travelling to Cornwall, plan well. Try to avoid the Saturday arrival/departure.
We are booked again for the summer
Best Site in Cornwall
We have been here many times and still can't get enough of the place!!!!! If you haven't stayed here before, you must make this place a priority to visit.
On the down side, it is a little disappointing to see so many pitches reserved for seasonal use - each with a caravan or motorhome parked on it - but with no one using it. These pitches usually have some of the best views on the site!!!!
Fabulous location
We would highly recommend this site even though there is no toilet/shower block. The location is brilliant for walking and we will be back to explore the area further. Easy walk into St Agnes and Trevaunance Cove. We didn't find it too windy on site and the fish and chip van made a welcome surprise. Wardens are really lovely as well.

Wet and windy
Beautiful site quiet with stunning views, very windy all the time even when no wind at the beach. Pitches - needed help getting out of the site as grass very wet making us sink the relief wardens were very friendly and helpful in our sticky situation thank you!
beaches are beautiful in walking distance good walking shoes needed.
Good stroll to village,
I would not recommend for families with children nothing for them to do glad we left ours at home..
The dogs loved their many wet walks dog friendly area.
A late season visit - maybe the best time
We have been visiting St Agnes Beacon for many years and love it. Previous visits have been marred by noisy and unruly children with their even more unspeakably ignorant parents who frequently seem to adopt the attitude "Go and play anywhere on the site, but not near us". This year, however, we stayed for the last two weeks of the season. It was amazingly quiet and we had a really good pitch - even though several pitches had been taken out of service for re-seeding following heavy rain leading to churned up grass. Even more amazing there were no children at all riding their bikes and shouting at all times of day and night. Ok, the weather was changeable and we had the tail-end gales resulting from an American Hurricane that rocked us to sleep on one night - but we also had some lovely sunny days to recharge out vitamin D batteries. We quite like the sound of rain on the caravan roof - soporific! The male warden is a most helpful man with a friendly nature - we didn't actually meet his wife during the stay. It will be disappointing to find that he has moved on next season. We agree with other comments about the seasonal pitches securing many of the best pitches, though we were astonished that quite a few remained on site even after we left on the last day of the season. It was, however, great that the Airstream motorhome has finally given up its great pitch after what seems a very long time. So, although this was the latest time in the season that we've stayed at St Agnes, it was probably the most enjoyable and relaxing we've ever had. We may consider going at the same time next year too.

Great site but...
We have been coming here for many years. It is a fantastic site. However. .. if, like us, you arrive on a Saturday, pitch availability is sparce. This may be due to time of day and week, but many pitches are booked out to unoccupied season ticket holders. The remaining pitches are small...or with no view. .toward the end of the week..late in the season.,remaining pitch posts are removed, leaving even less choice.
I recommend a better system for caravans with awnings is considered. Because large pitches are being taken by motorhomes leaving very few spaces.

What a wonderful setting views to die for great walks we spent six nights at St Agnes loved every minute we will be back warden's very friendly great
great for walks
stayed for 9 days it was not bad weather but not hot and was a great pity we could not put the awning up as thee winds were very strong and are like this most of the time ,coastal path walks just over the road as well as some Poldark film locations, no toilet block but we were aware of this when we booked, TV reception very good, village is about 45 mins walk, try the bakery opp the church and have a sauage roll, better still have 2, the beach is just down the road and dogs are allowed on the sandy beach
