Will return

support all the other positive comments. No fault of site but Internet is v poor and no phone signal for some suppliers. No play area for children for me was a bonus, no children there on my stay but for families, although there are many things to do in the area the site is limited

Excellent Site

First time at Silverbank Club Site for a good few years. On arrival we were greeted by the most friendly and helpful wardens, who I must say work endlessly to keep the site in pristine condition so top marks and many thanks for their efforts.  The site is well situated for excursions to the beautiful Royal Deeside with more than ample supermarkets , shops and restraurants in close proximity.

Banchory Campsite

A well tended site uniformly set out. Main facilities block has everything you would expect though mebbe on the small side. Wardens on duty at intermittent periods and are quite relaxed. Most of what you would need is available in Banchory - a ten minute cycle ride to the west. Morrisons supermarket is closer in easy walking distance. Deeside is beautiful on a fine day. I couldn't find the site listed on my sat nav which purports to have sites from UK and Europe. Odd, since I understand the site has been here for quite a while.

An Excellent Site

We have been coming here for over 40 years, and Deeside continues to attract us for a few days holiday.  The site is well located, well laid out and excellently maintained.  We agree that the toilet block could be bigger, and updated, but is perfectly serviceable and very clean.  Congratulations to the wardens.

Could be so much better

Having been using the Caravan Club Sites for well over 30 years, we have something to compare a first visit against. This is an ideal location and the site is quiet and very well run by the wardens who put a lot of effort into ensuring that it is clean, tidy and are very helpful. Sadly the infrastructure is now well out of date and the toilet block and area are in need to a total refurbishment. It is sad and run down and not up to Club Standards. There are only three showers and toilets and queuing is a regular occurrence. That having been said, we would use it again and it is a change to meet wardens who seem happy with their job and who are very good at welcoming members who visit. Come on Caravan Club spend some money where it is needed.

wonderful

We had a wonderful 2 night stay . The facilities are immaculate and the men running the site are cheerfull and helpful . We liked the grass areas beside the parking to put a blanket and lie down to read and lounge in the sun , along with our dogs . The walk into town along the river is beautiful . We liked the dog area to play and let the dogs loose a great bonus also . A wee bit of noise from the road but nothing much .

Site no6 on our Scottish tour

Arrived on the 12th July for 5 nights this is our 6th site on our Scottish tour. The site is well kept and toilet block was very clean. There is a little noise from the nearby A93 but most of the noise was coming from the rear of the site with the construction of the new Deeside Railway this will be going on until the end of July. The site has good wfi the mobile signal is hit miss depending on where you are. Tesco is 5 minute walk from the sitet if you turn right and Morrisons is a 5 minute walk if you turn left out of the site. There are plenty of walks for dog walkers it takes a about 40 minutes to walk to the Deeside Railway from the site.

...site number 2 in Scotland

Silverbank was our second site in our tour of Scotland and we found it superb. Well kept site spotlessly clean and the wardens were so friendly and helpful. The nearby walk along the Dee is a must and the site is an easy and enjoyable stroll into Banchory. Nearby bus stop had good service which we used to go to Braemer. So much to see and do that I think we will be paying a return visit.

Good base site for Aberdeenshire

Good hardstanding pitches though a bit open plan for our liking - you can see the whole site from all pitches. Friendly wardens, clean toilet blocks and good WiFi reception. Some road noise and noise from lumber yard next door but not too intrusive. Dog walk on site is fine for night time necessities but the short path round the side of the site to the Deeside Way opens up a wider range of walks. Plenty of other walks within a short drive of the site too. Tesco is literally 5 min walk across the road which is very handy but Aberdeen is only half an hour away which would be handy if you are staying here longer. Banchory is a quiet little village with a few shops and restaurants should you want them.
