So disappointed
Arriving at six, Friday evening ( after work and school ), we were left with a choice of three pitches.
The row of grass pitches along the top edge of the site back on to the edge of the West bound A66, I would say about ten yards away. A row of brash, small treesand and a three foot slatted fence are the only thing between the back of your van and the 44 tonne lorries that literally roar past ever couple of minutes. There is no crash barrier between you and the road at this point of the A66. The traffic was heavy and continuous through the night.
These 'pitches' simply are not suitable as pitches.
The wardens were lovely and sympathetic, it's not their fault. The toilet block was spotlessly clean. No play area for children. Sorry to say, we won't be visiting again.
