Lovely site - But watch out for Noise and Wasps
We visited for a week over the August bank holiday.
Putts Corner is a beautiful site. We have visited each year for the last 5 years or so.
The wardens are friendly and efficient. Site is very tidy and shower blocks are spotless.
On this trip unfortunately, the wasps were unbearable. Two of us were stung. We chose a grass pitch near the park and there must have been a nest in the trees. Not a fault of the caravan club, or the wardens, but very unpleasant.
We also found the noise on site louder than usual too. Having 3 young kids, we are well used to noise!! However, regular aeroplane noise, dogs on site barking and road noise made the site seem noisy.
