Weekend stay at end of November

Quiet peaceful weekend, rainy as you expect at end of November. Hard standing pitches are an excellent size with decent space between each plot. Only spent 2 nights but will try a longer stay next year in spring/summer. Good central base and good access routes to other nice spots around the area.

Fab place to stay

First time of using this site as new to the caravan club membership. I was delighted to find a warm and helpful welcome, the site is well maintained and the facilities were kept clean and tidy at all times. My two dogs were exhausted after their long walks in Pembrey park which is right next to the caravan park with easy access to all areas including the beautiful beach. Will definitely be using this site again in the near future !! .... Elaine.

Here again

We have made many visits to this site and have never been disappointed. The staff are lovely and the site is very well maintained and peaceful. There is plenty to do and see nearby and perfect for dog walkers. We are looking forward to staying here over the new year. Geoff.

Didn't stay long enough - we'll be back

We chose Pembrey just on location for a long weekend to meet family and to watch rugby. We had no idea it was such a great site in a great area and we will have a longer holiday on the site next year. Also, the weather was against us due to various storms blowing in. Despite this we loved the site – wooded and nice large pitches. The Country Park is fantastic for walks and exploring and the 7 mile long beach was wonderful with the waves crashing in. There are lots of activities in the Park and a great beach cafe (check opening times but open all winter). The history of the area and the role as an armaments factory on both world wars was very interesting. We also went to the Amelia Earhart monument which is another interesting story of the area. Even in pouring rain we liked Carmarthen with lost in interesting shops. The wardens were very friendly and helpful and gave us a great welcome.Their recommendation of The Cornish Arms in Burry Port for food was spot on. Even the rough weather and losing at rugby didn’t spoil our short break and we will be back soon.

Here again

We just love the place. The wardens are so helpfull and make you welcome as soon as you book in. We are back at the end of the month for another weekend of relaxation and fresh air. I could go on and on how good it is. But just book up and go you will not be dissapointed. Plenty of time to get the pine cones in for Christmas and make things with the Grandchildren.

Half Term break

We arrived at Pembrey on 24th October 2015 in the rain, but after we had our lunch the weather was on our side ad we were able to set up our Awning and that of my Sister and Brother-in-laws, which was the start of our holiday. The weather after that was on our side when we were able to take lovely walks around Pembrey Park itself. The Halloween Evening was a great success as myself and sister help with the Witch walk with the children and adults who dressed up and got well into the spirit of the night. After the walk and looking for the best dressed caravan and the best dressed girl and boy, and all enjoyed a hot dog and a drink, the children had a great time dancing at the Devils Den(which the Wardens set up for them). We would like to thank Julie & Bill for a great stay. This is our favourite Caravan Site and come back time and time again. Keep up the good work. WE WILL BE BACK. xxx

Halloween!!

We had a fantastic stay at Pembrey and will be definitely staying again, especially at Halloween. The site is brill and the wardens were excellent. The Halloween party was really good and we can't thank the wardens enough for their effort. Almost everyone staying got involved in the Halloween celebration with the walk around the site for the kids to collect sweets and the fancy dress disco party at the end was fab. My only complaint is we didn't find out who won best dressed caravan. Personally I think pitch 51 was the best! See you again next year!! :)

Perfect Pembrey!

Brilliant site in fabulous location. Plenty to do without the need to use the car. Dry ski slope, toboggan run, crazy golf, pitch n putt, segway, pub, playgrounds, minature railway and seven miles of glorious beach all practically on your doorstep. Lovely large pitches with plenty of space between them. Super clean facilities and super friendly wardens. I stayed here with my husband, son, his friend ( both age 12) and our dog. We all thoroughly enjoyed!

Halloween treat

A great site run by great wardens, facilites top speck as usual with this site. The Halloween weekend was topped off with a childrens fancy dress party and ghost walk around the site, well done to the ever brillant warden team and the members who volunteered to help out a great weekend will be back to this top site thank you everyone

Perfect

This site was perfect for us having 3 dogs one which is not over friendly ,straight out onto park plenty of room for him to be able to run .lovely site friendly wardens ,only downside was people that left toilets etc in a disgusting state both my husband and I encountered toilets covered in poo which people were just too lazy and dirty to clean after them .also our toilet chemical was stolen from under back of van which is where we have always left it ,lesson learnt .but on the whole we will definitely be back
