This is a great site with friendly & helpful wardens.

We had a really good time again at this lovely site. There are great walks & lovely pubs near by with one right next the site. The wardens are a great couple who keep the site immaculate. We will certainly be coming here again. Jan & Phil Owen-Smith

First time stay

Our first stay at Pandy, very friendly wardens and keen for you to have relaxing stay. Very peaceful site (just what we wanted) so not a site for children. The trains were not a problem so we see no reason not to return when we need another short restful few days. Well done the wardens

Brilliant staff support

Our first visit to this site. Found it to be peaceful and relaxing, without the hustle and bustle you find on some sites. We knew about the trains, and in the end didn't find them a disturbance. There is everything there that most people would need to enjoy their stay. The staff are amazing. We lost (so we thought) a section of awning pole. Bill fabricated a replacement from bits that he had lying around. It worked too, but we found the missing part in the end. As we were leaving the site, the stabiliser blade (yes, we still use one of those!) retaining bracket sheared off and we were faced with the drive home with no stabiliser. Bill turned the remains of our bracket around so that it still clamped the stabiliser and got us safely home. Full marks, staff, and thank you.

Grey mould in the showers, Freight train, Freight train, going past.

Generally a tidy and well maintained site, tucked away from the main road and screened, in part by the railway embankment, To be honest this was far less of an intrusion than the load traffic noise at the Brecon Beacons site, but a freight train at 3.30am may well wake you up - it did me! Major grip was the shower facilities. Pokey cubicles with those hideous plastic stools, a shortage of coat hooks, shower controls of the hit and miss variety, lots of hot water, though not necessarily when or where you want it. But missing grout, black mould on tiles and ceiling, simply not good enough. Despite all that we enjoyed our week at Pandy and hope to return - preferably after they've refurbished the showers.

What a little Jem.

Just returned from 5 nights at this lovely site we have never stayed before as we were put off by my daughter who had stayed here a few years before and had told us the trains were very noisy, but as we didn't want to travel far we thought let's give it a go. The site is well kept by the very friendly wardens the toilet block is very clean and although a little dated I found it better than some sites who have small shower cubicles. A lovely wooded dog walk on site which has a stream running a long side it great for the dogs to paddle and cool down. Set in beautiful countryside and lots of places to visit in the surrounding areas. On the down side it would be much better if there were a few longer pitches as our van is 26ft and with a porch awning we found it was difficult to park the car in front of the van off the road as did a few others around us. We will be returning again soon I hope. Forgot to say the train noise did not bother us.

Enjoyable visit

I spent an enjoyable week here, well worth a visit. Yes the site is "quaint" - small toilet block in need of a refurb and narrow site road but the welcome and location make up for it. A hilly part of the world so walking and cycling is a challenge but well worth the effort. Visit the "3 Castles" - not easy to find. A site to return to.

return visit

We have stayed here several times in the past - this time was after a 2-week tour of Wales in our campervan. We decided to have our last stop off at Pandy before returning to home to Southampton. It was nice to have a relaxing afternoon on site. This site is between a fast flowing river and a railway line. However, we did not find the passing trains an issue. The pitches a well spaced out and we did not feel overlooked. The Wardens were most welcoming, friendly and helpful. Facilities were what you expect from a club site. One of our favorite small club sites.

Just perfect

What a little gem of a site. Just spent three glorious relaxing days there. Thank you Julie & Bill for making us so welcome, we will definitely be back. Our dog Bailey loved the dog walk & we loved the peace & quiet Debbie & Richard 😊

Facilities not touched since 1980

Whilst very friendly, this site is not Club site standard. The facilities are terribly out of date and they close them from 10:30 - 12 everyday. The pitches are too close together and there is a freight train running through the night right next to the site. It simply doesn't compare with modern expectations.
