Grey mould in the showers, Freight train, Freight train, going past.
Generally a tidy and well maintained site, tucked away from the main road and screened, in part by the railway embankment, To be honest this was far less of an intrusion than the load traffic noise at the Brecon Beacons site, but a freight train at 3.30am may well wake you up - it did me!
Major grip was the shower facilities. Pokey cubicles with those hideous plastic stools, a shortage of coat hooks, shower controls of the hit and miss variety, lots of hot water, though not necessarily when or where you want it. But missing grout, black mould on tiles and ceiling, simply not good enough.
Despite all that we enjoyed our week at Pandy and hope to return - preferably after they've refurbished the showers.
