First time visit to the Pandy site and certainly will not be our last. A well kept, clean and inviting caravan park. From arrival we where made very welcome. the hard standings are large and well placed with great views around the fabulous country side.
On our visit we had the company of our sons dog Bella who is a very active lady and loves to go out walking and it was certainly great to see a separate dog walk area to accommodate her needs. The facilities, shower and toilet block is of a very high standard which we have come to expect from a CC site. 50yds of site there's the Pandy pud that have a great pint of Butty Bach, a selection of reasonable priced meals in the restaurant and welcome dogs in the bar. There is the main Abergavenny railway line that runs directly alongside the site, but to be honest , even though you can hear the trains they certainly did not disturb the tranquility and peacefulness of the site.
You need to book early as this is a very popular Caravan club site, when we booked we where lucky to have the last available hard standing, the site was full on arrival (a Thursday) looking forward to a return visit.
Very restful
Beautiful views and very restful place to be. Wardens were helpful and friendly. Only disturbance to the peace were the trains close by but it wasn't really a problem. Lovely stay.
Young couple
Lovely lovely place so relaxing with outstanding views of the mountains and farmland. With a river longside that the dog enjoyed. Campsie and facilities lovely and clean. Showers AMAZING. Really nice wardens will definitely be back soon. Thank you.
Lovely site
We've visited this site several times over the last couple of years, a fact that speaks for itself! We like the fact that it's one of the smaller sites, that the wardens are both friendly and conscientious about keeping the site spotless, and that you can hike out directly from the site. It's true that regional Sprinter trains run alongside the site but you're more likely to be woken in the night by owls than by a train!

Small and friendly
We've been several times over the years, never disappointed in its appeal. Friendly and laid back staff, the trains can be noisy but you get used to them quickly, great for cycling/walking, pub right outside the gate & one just down the road. Close to the market town & other lovely villages, would highly recommend!
Nice and small
A gem of a site with nice helpful wardens. Great hillwalks direct from the site, and a very good pub next door, with more nearby. Facilities are a little dated but very clean and well maintained, as you would expect of a CC site. One soon gets used to the busy rail line alongside. There is a bus service to nearby Abergavenny which is worth a visit and has a super indoor market (some days). We've been here twice and hope to return.

Easter weekend
This sight is one of the smaller ones, that dose not mean it is inferior. There are lots of public footpaths from the site so is ideal for keen walkers as we are. There is a good pub about 50 meters from the site entrance serving good food and beer. The site itself is quiet but for the express trains which run quite close but did not really disturb us at all. The toilet and shower facilities are good and very clean, but a little dates. Unfortunatly we had heavy rain during one night and several pitches were flooded in the morning. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this lovely area, we will return and would recommend this site.
Walking break
We spend two nights at Pandy. The site is really lovely alongside the river Honddu. The facilities are modern and spotlessly clean. Walking from the site is excellent and extensive. The Trainline runs right alongside the site but we didn't find it intrusive in any way. We walked to the Carpenters Arms for early evening drinks - a must!

Rain didn't stop play
Hubby and I stayed for the 4 night Easter weekend and as expected the holiday traffic and horrendous weather made our short journey to the site awful. We arrived just after 7pm on the Thursday evening and were greeted by extremely welcoming and friendly wardens. We had a very relaxing weekend despite some horrible weather and an adventure with the power post on our pitch but the wardens remained golden throughout. We will definitely be back, a little gem of a site just far enough away from home to be away for a cheeky little get away.

Handy Pandy
Visited this site as a first time motorhome owner from the Forest of Dean, in early March. Lots of pitch choice, very helpful staff and great location. There is a really handy pub just outside which allowed my 2 dogs into the public bar, whilst I ate a great pheasant curry and downed a couple of well kept Guinness. Nice dog walk along the river bank at the site. I have marked it down slightly for noise as there is a railway alongside, but this didn't disturb me, but might others. I only stayed 1 night as a trial with the motor, but wish I could have stayed longer. I will be back, thankyou.
