We have just spent a week at this site which we feel does not deserve CC status. When we booked we were informed all pitches were near toilet/shower facilities but we were pitched as far away as you could possibly get (800yds). Block 2 ladies are awful - frayed shower curtains - luke warm water - lack of toilet paper from one day to the next. They are not checked regularly - although their signage insists they do! The views are stunning - but the travellers site just along from the site is an absolute eyesore! Never again - please CC check this out!!

wonderfull views
first time on this site. on arrival shown to pitch .we have motorhome . we had requested a pitch near the sea we booked in 2014. we were put 3 rows back. they said you will have a lovely view from hear. with in 1 hour caravans had spoiled the view. i went to reception. and asked why we could not go on those pitches further up ware the caravans were.i was told we dont put motorhomes on those pitches.we let the caravans go across the grass to the seaview piches.we did get moved to a better view . then were told please dont use elecric kettle it will trip out the electric. it did. so had to use gas heatng from then. as this is a AS site should be up to cc site electric amps not ten amp
Outstanding
This is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review after returning from a 7 day tour around the west coast of Scotland. North Ledaig was a fantastic base with good public transport links to Oban then onto the Isles. The site was large and this did concern me a little as we arrived. I need not have worried as this site is simply the most peaceful and tranquil place. So much so that we might as well have been on a CL. Everybody (wardens) was extremely friendly and the shop was so well stocked you could get everything from an ice cream to a bottle of champagne! The facilities are very clean and although not the newest and most sparkling in the world they are more than good enough for everyone's needs. BUT THE VIEW!!!!! It is simply outstanding and you will never ever get used to looking at it.
Thank you for a lovely holiday

Expensive for what it is.
Very disappointed that this site only has 10amp supply & whilst there in what was winter like conditions the power was constantly tripping out. Had we known this before booking we would not have chosen this site, despite it's stunning location. The ladies showers in block 2 were the worst my wife had ever encountered & the dishwashing sinks ( far too deep ) had only luke warm water by the time you had it half full. In our opinion this site is very expensive for 10amp supply & poor facilities ( although toilet block 1 is of a high standard ) & we will certainly not be returning.
Best site in Scotland
I have been using this site for 10 years, 4 or 5 times a year and have only one gripe. The pitches on the water edge are allowed to erect awnings, This along with lLARGE wind breaks, caravan and tow car completely blocks most of the view from row 2 which is further back but at the same level. The third row is further elevated and is less obstructed.PLEASE follow the practice at Bunree up the coast where awnings are not allowed on water edge pitches. Thank you and I will watch for changes
