We love this site

We've visited this site several times & always find the wardens very friendly, helpful & professional. The site & facilities are always immaculate & looks well kept & welcoming. Whatever your interests there is plenty to do & see in the area - can recommend the fishing, the village of Ludham, The Kings Head Pub, East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens & much more!

Quick break

Stayed at this site several times as it's quite local and handy to just get away to. This was our first trip of the season to check all was ok and the set up of this site just makes it so easy with level hard standing pitches. The wardens are friendly and helpful and the facilities are up to the usual club standards. Local pub a short walk away which serves a good burger and a good pint. Plenty of places to visit locally in a lovely quite peaceful location.

Short Break

A lovely located site in the middle of the Norfolk Broads. Curtious and friendly staff. Travelling chip van arrived on the Saturday evening which is handy if you have been away all day. Pub down the road and Ludham Bridge similar where you can watch the waterway traffic.  Ludham village about a mile away, well worth a visit. The only drawback are the buses, they run very infrequently and none at all on a Sunday unless you get up at 7 am.

Great location

Typically friendly and helpful wardens. Armed with an OS map and walks leaflet from office it's great as a site for walking and cycling out of. We had a busy and stimulating 3 days walking and cycling. Will return. Facilitties to the usual C club impeccable  standard.

First time caravanning

This was our first time out and was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of everyone on site, the site itself was spotless and the wardens were very polite and helpful, there's plenty do do and see in the surrounding area, all told our first time out was made very pleasing.

Late Easter Break

We had to change our Easter booking so didn't arrive until the following Wednesday. The wardens were of the usual friendly helpful type and we really did feel this was genuine. The site was fairly quiet less than half the pitches occupied so we were able to select a nice pitch that suited us with our 2 little dogs. The Wednesday eveing chip van was well timed. This site is in a very rural location but you are not too far from civilisation with Wroxham and Potter Higham just up the road in either direction. Ludham Bridge is a short walk with views and a footpath along the winding river. The sky is big and the fields stretch for miles. We had a lovely late Easter break and will definitely return to this beautifully kept site which is a credit to the Club.

Convenient to Broads Activities

Only the one night which was peaceful enough ( main road adjacent at bit noisy at times ) and pitches with good space between. Pat and Mick made our brief stay, pleasant - thank you for being helpful and cheery! Facilities need a bit of an update but none the less well up to CC standards.  Excellent wi-if. Weather - overcast and chilly.

Beautiful and peaceful

Stayed for 5 nights over Easter.  Lovely site. Near to Ludham walking distance 1.5 miles by footpath. Small shops amazing butcher (try the sausages and bacon). Very popular tea rooms do homemade cakes and cream teas.  Dog Inn is just next to the site for hot meals if you don't want to cook. Ludham stores is nearby for essentials at Ludham bridge.  Lovely walks all in easy reach of the site.  We took a walk from Ludham Bridge along the river to How Hill and round back to the pub!  Quite easy walking but a little windy. Can agree with all comments on the site very welcoming and clean at all times. We did not have problems with the children listed in other reviews.  I have said not good for families as there is not much for them to do unless they are younger and like the play ground etc. Will book again soon as this site is completely away from it all and very restful

Easter visit

Just back from an enjoyable 8 nights and would agree with comments on the cleanliness of the site and Wardens being helpful. I am sorry that Paula experienced problems but surely these concerns should be immediately reported to the site team rather than as a comment on the site itself.   My reason for not giving a full 5 stars for location was because the site is a fair distance from amenities like food shops unless you are prepared to pay the higher prices asked in the convenience store by Ludham Bridge. Otherwise,  the area is beautiful and has many attractions to commend. We enjoyed watching the ducks foraging on site.

Another wonderful stay

Just returned from a three night stay at this great club site. The friendly wardens do a fabulous job keeping the site well maintained. The tiolet facilities are of  the usual high standard of club sites.  Our trip was marred, however, by a couple of families. The children were uncontrollable, kicking footballs at caravans and messing with other caravans electric points and water. The tiolets were constantly being flooded and soap smeared over mirrors on numerous occasions. They even flooded the tiolets just before they left. This is the first and only time we have experienced this on a club site. This was the talking point of other members too.We hope the details have been passed on to head office, by the wardens and have their membership cancelled. Having said this we still had a wonderful stay and can't wait to return.
