NEW FOREST

We enjoyed our stay very much at the New Forest Caravan Club site, once we found it!  Signage in this area is sadly lacking or vague, this is not the fault of the club but maybe a word in the ear of the local authorities may assist.  On leaving the site to visit friends in Verwood we had a couple of attempts to find the right road.  On returning in the dark we had to guess the direction of a several roads and not always correctly.  It did however mean that we saw several deer and a badger in the "off road" part of our journey. Lovely part of the country.  Great site.

Lovely Site

We have attended this site on a few occassions and have never been disappointed. The location is excellent for cycling and within easy reach of the New Forest The site is well managed and the facilities are spotless, due to the fact the Wardens do an excellent job and nothing is too much trouble. The only negative point in this review is simply that I cannot fault at all and this will lead to more people booking up and stopping us going when we want

Great site

I have just returned from a week on this site. The facilities were immaculate, the grounds beautifully maintained and the wardens friendly and helpful. The site is well positioned for visiting a number of places and for my three Labradors the walking was excellent. I am sure I will be back for another stay. For someone new to caravanning and travelling alone, one possible improvement for me would have been some assistance in finding a pitch. I found reading the rather complicated map whilst negotiating the one way systems which were not very clearly marked quite daunting especially whilst towing! I look forward to my next trip.

Very good.

Just got back after staying here for 5 nights. The site is very nice. Very clean & tidy. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We took our 18month dog with us and I was very impressed with the facilities for dogs. Would highly recommend this site for everyone. I would also go back sometime. The site is very central for touring the New Forest and surrounding area. Bournemouth & Southhampton within easy reach.

Good site

We stayed here while visiting Beaulieu for the auto jumble so didn't get much time to tour the area so we will be coming back but we really enjoyed our limited time in the area.

great site.

Loved this site and everything about it, plus so much to see and do within very easy travelling time.  One of the highlights of our stay for me was a visit to the motorcycle museum, just a few  miles down the road  £7.50 entry, good value for money and incudes various farm animals the non enthusiastic to bikes may find interesting.   Will definitely return here next yr. Loved it.

Good Site

Lovely site, well laid out with plenty of choice of grass or hard standing pitch. During our recent week there we were impressed with the facilities and the general tidiness of the site. Adverse comment - wifi was non existent after the first 2 days, had to,go to Reception or Info Room to get a signal which, although not a real problem, should not happen on a paid service. Only other comment - on arrival I was reminded of the site speed limit (quite rightly) only to find many, including Wardens, ignored this advice.
