Spring Wiggle Sportive 2017

Returned to this site for our 5th stay, really enjoy the location and this time we used it as our base whilst we completed the Wiggle Spring Sportive.... 66 Miles on a bike is a long way, so we finished the day at The Crown in Bransgore with a few pints and fantastic food. Looking forward to our next stay!! Facilities were spotlessly clean and the wardens were always helpful..... Thanks

Very Welcoming Site

Site wardens very welcoming and really nice to our granddaughter. She really enjoyed her stay here and we will probably bring her back. Very quiet even with all the children on the site because of the Easter holiday. Facilities very good and clean. A really pleasent site and not far from the places we wanted to visit.

Fantastic location and really welcoming helpful wardens

Our first visit to this site. The location is perfect for forest walks and also lovely coast at Milford on Sea, Barton, Highcliffe, Avon beach, Mudeford and also towns of Lymington, Christchurch and Bournemouth. The wardens were really helpful and cheerful and the shop was well stocked. This is a big site but was ok until it got really busy over Easter Weekend. There seemed to be grass pitches squeezed in between hard standing pitches, something we have not encountered before and didn't really suit us. There was also a problem with the toilets once the site was full, particularly the mens. This was not the wardens fault but the fault of other members abusing the facilities to quite a shocking degree that we have not seen before on our travels.

Highly Recommended

This site has everything.apart from a good wifi signal. We paid the £10 for the week and it was very weak. We then moved to another small site in North London and the signal was the same even though the site was small. The site itself was lovely. The people in reception very friendly and helpful and it was really quiet even though there were children around. The facilities were convenient and everything was kept clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

Lovely friendly site

We love this site , starting from the the very warm & friendly welcome on arrival from all of the wardens. It makes such a difference after a long journey to have such a welcome. The site is laid out in different areas and never feels like you are on a big site , the facilities are excellent & the shop is very well stocked. We will definitely be back later in the year. Keep up the good work wardens , your amazing! What a different welcome we got at Rookesbury on our way home! They need to take a leaf out of your book!

Fab 1 & Fab2

Excellent site, always our first trip of the year , since opening.. Wardens very friendly and helpful especially to us and another caravanner, when hitching up. our electrics would not fit to the car.[international rescue] came to our aid with their green magic tool. { for realignment.} Many Thanks to them.

First outing of the year

Absolutely faultless site. Great separation between good sized pitches. Spotless facilities - 2 full sized facility blocks. Well maintained landscaping with a really good children's play park with a separate mini football area. Very good location for walks( or cycling) around local "inclosures" of the New Forest or the coast. Good selection of local pubs etc within a few minutes drive. We like to start our touring year somewhere along the south of Hampshire in the hope of some decent weather but when coupled with the experience of this site , we will definitely be back. Thanks to the site staff for a very warm welcome and their efforts in keeping the site in top condition.

BRILLIANT!

We cannot think of anything bad about this site, it's great. The friendliness and helpfulness of the wardens makes our holidays just perfect. The facilities are always clean. tidy and warm and the site is well maintained. The shop is well stocked, in particular the fantastic cake selection! If you are a dog owner the surrounding area is great for long walks and even if you don't have a dog we are sure you will appreciate the lovely countryside. We start and end the caravanning year on this site, always will.
