Lovely, scenic, peaceful site

This was a return visit to the Morvich site for us. We were impressed on our first visit by the friendly, helpful staff, the well-maintained site and the peace and quiet of the setting. It is well situated as a base for visiting neighbouring areas. We used it this time as a base for our return visit to Skye. There was an issue with hot water on our first day, staff were very apologetic and the repair was in hand, repaired the following day. I did hear some complaints but you know what....no one planned the breakdown, nor did anyone ever suffer through missing a shower. We will be returning at some point, would not hesitate to recommend this site.

Amazing site

I stayed here for a few nights in late July....what a fantastic place. The site is in a gorgeous location, nesting within the mountains containing the Five Sisters of Kintail range. The pitches are all well spaced and spacious, with TV points at the bollards, for no extra cost....only 8 channels available...but reception is great, as is the Wi-Fi. It's all very well looked after, with very friendly wardens. I had a problem with my on board battery, and i was leant a battery charger to charge it back up again....much appreciated. The only down point was somebody who was camping, insisted on sitting in their large van with the engine running in the evenings for a while, ruining the peace and quite for a while. It was a great base for touring around the area, and i can't wait to go back!!

Lovely site

We have just had 4 nights at this site. We had a friendly welcome, the site was half empty so had a good choice of pitches which were mainly level but some people used small ramps on theirs. There were some children on site but apart from riding bikes I couldn't see anything else to entertain them. The approach is narrow in places but plenty of passing places and we didn't find it a problem. It was very quiet whilst we were there and the facilities were kept clean and warm as the weather was a bit cool and damp at times. We didnt have any midges but when we were getting ready to leave we did see the odd one or two. We had 4g periodically and Tele via the bollard but service is poor so don't expect a lot and be prepared for a holiday free of technology. We went to a place called lower Diabaig, near Torridon where there are views and a lovely resturant where the food and coffee/tea is lovely. 2 hours drive down a single track but worth the trip. The site is kept clean and tidy and I would recommend it if you want a scenic, quiet holiday.

Fantastic Site

This was our first foray into motorhome travel. We chose this site for ease of access to Skye. A peaceful, friendly, welcoming, clean site. Lovely dog walks immediately outwith the site. We liked it so much we are planning a second visit.

Fantastic Welcome

We have just arrived back from Morvich and loved our visit to this site. The welcome was perfect and it was no problem to them that we were leaving the van for a few days to travel up to Skye for our friends 50th Birthday Party, for us it was a perfect stopover as we were struggling to find a site on Skye that would take us as it is so busy now at this time of the year. The site is really well looked after and so quiet and peaceful. Some fantastic walking and sightseeing in the area, would highly recommend this site, one of our favourites.

Scottish tour

We have spent 2 nights at this site and now extended our stay by a further 2 nights. Having stopped at many of the sites on the network I have no hesitation in saying this is the best we have stayed at. This decision is based on both the fabulous views and the helpful and friendly wardens. The drive from Fort William to the site is fantastic with countless photo opportunities. The site is great as a base for touring Skye. Certainly a site we will visit again.

The best site we have stayed at

We are still on site as i write this in May 2018 and it is the best site we have visited in the 2 years we have been caravanning. A bit out of the way for access to Skye, but its OK and still near lots of lovely places to visit. A small, intimate, private site, with lovely close mountain views all around. Great wardens and clean facilities on site, including a laundry room and a drying room which is very handy after a wet walk. We dont have a TV and didnt use the club wifi, because there is a good EE mob signal here which I can convert to my own decent wifi. The site is popular for touring the area and gets full quite quickly, due I suspect, to short stay motorhomes passing thro. One useful tip is that they dont mind you parking your caravan front first, rather than the conventional back first onto your pitch, so that on the middle pitches you face into the lawned areas, so much more private.

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst touring Scotland . It's very tranquil and surrounded by mountains

2 night stop over as we toured around Scotland April/may 2018 , it is a peaceful, and tranquil site, good layout, were new too caravanning and touring, so pitched near too facilities block, the booking in was quick, efficient and friendly. We used as a based too visit the area, a local castle EIlean Donan is worth a visit as it Skye, Shower/toilet block clean and warm, laundry is a good extra with a large drying room for outdoor clothing, and as it rained both days this was needed. Above on review I needed too score if the site is good for families, but I cannot really comment as we didn't see any children and we didn't see any facilities , but as I said ,plenty of walking , mountains, river, fresh air, nature...your decision for your family

A fantastic site

We stayed at Morvich for two nights whilst touring Scotland. The site is clean, tidy with friendly wardens. There are several walks available from the site all dog friendly. Maps and directions for the walks are available from the site office. The site is surrounded my mountains but close to the A87. Eileen Donan castle is 5 miles up the road and well worth a visit. All in all we will visit Morvich again when returning to the Highlands.

Great Location

We stayed here for 1 nights whilst touring Scotland. The facilities were ok - fairly standard for a club site. No radio
