Lovely site
We stayed here for the first time. It is set in a stunning location surrounded by mountains. It was peaceful and scenic and easy access. The staff very friendly. We will definitely be returning

Beautiful but remote
The site itself is beautiful with a river alongside it and mountains in the background everywhere is kept very tidy and it is a nice site to walk around however it is a long way from anywhere, in particular the nearest Co-op seem to be in Kyle of Lochalsh which was a good 25 minute drive away. Great if you want to get away from it all. We visited Skye 2 days in a row as it seemed to get better weather!
Incredible location and beautiful site
Even by the standards of the Highlands this site is in a stunning location. Surrounded by mountains but amazingly the site is lovely and flat. Most importantly, wardens Judith and Simon keep the site and toilet facilities immaculate with help from their assistants Sarah and Keith. We’ve had a warm welcome whenever we’ve stayed here. If you’re looking for the perfect base to explore the Highlands then you can’t do better.
During this visit we’ve just enjoyed a wonderful Jubilee party… with Prosecco! Thank you again to the wonderful wardens here who are an absolute credit to the club.

Stunning
Morvich camp site is set in stunning scenery, i found it to be spotlessly clean ( not even a cobweb ) ...... i have traveled extensively in Europe but never found a site as well run and friendly as this.
Infact it was so good i flew my girlfriend from the south of England to Inverness and extended my stay by 10 days, we explored Skye and the surrounding area from the site, Simon and his Wife had good local knowledge which the freely shared.
Stunning scenery
Morvich is an excellent campsite if you want peace and quiet in beautiful scenery; extremely friendly and helpful staff. This was the second time we have visited and we will be going back again in September. Just love the area x
Absolutely Stunning!
You are surrounded by mountains. Every view from the caravan window was fabulous. We watched deer on the mountains from the caravan window with the binoculars. Kyle of Lochalsh has great views over the Loch and the bridge to Skye. Good sized co op for provisions and Costa machine and probably the best fish and chips on the planet! Skye is a must. We had gorgeous weather and visited Portree , other landmarks and even went wild swimming in the Fairy Pools. Plockton is well worth a visit , we launched our paddle board there and had a fabulous lunch on a terrace with beautiful views over the bay. We caught the train on the Kyle line to Inverness and the journey along the coast and lochs was wonderful. Lots of walks from the site, both easy and more challenging, all printed on A4 in the information room. There is a viewpoint at the cemetery at the end of the road that’s well worth the very short walk too. We loved our stay here!
Beautiful location with stunning scenery
Stayed here for a week and the site is set in stunning scenery in a valley surrounded by mountains. Stags were roaring at each other across the valley every night and came down into the fields next to the site, we saw golden eagles flying overhead and it is a good location for seeing that area of Scotland from. The wardens were very friendly and helpful, the facilities although a little dated were spotless and well maintained. If you could book the weather this would be the icing on the cake but for us it rained for a week and at one point we did have some water come up into the awning as we were pitched at the far end of the site although it did drain away once the rain eased for a while.
Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it as a site to visit
A beautiful place
This was our second visit to Morvich and on each occasion we have been stunned by the beauty of the area surrounding the site. The site was full each night and the team did an excellent job, providing a warm and friendly welcome. Spotless facilities. Wonderful walks from the site and we were lucky to have good weather enabling us to get some fantastic views. We very much hope to have another visit in the future.
Fabulous place
A beautiful place with extremely friendly wardens. Good choice of pitches and everywhere was clean and tidy. Despite the howling wind we felt safe and secure. Great facilities which were immaculate. Good local shop a short walk away. Great base for walking.
