Disappointing Stay
The site is in a beautiful location. We only stayed for one night en route to Skye and as it turned out, one night was enough!
The wardens were welcoming but the shower block was not! It was a very cold day and the heating was barely on in the shower block. In fact, one radiator wasn't on at all and the other was barely giving out any heat, so showering was not a pleasant experience! Added to that was the fact that several toilets in the ladies block were out of action - not because they were faulty but clearly because the wardens wanted to limit the amount of cleaning so had placed the toilet brush and recepticle on top of the toilet seat thereby making it clear they were not to be used. This was a problem in the morning as the site was pretty full and having to queue for the use of a toilet was insulting given the nightly cost charged.
We will not be returning.
