we were there only one night. It was very relaxing and quiet. It is a shame the pub is closed
Lovely stay
We have just come back from a 3 night stay at Morn Hill. It was really enjoyable, very peaceful, very clean facilities and friendly staff.
Handy for Winchester
Pleasant site with friendly staff. The floral display was beautiful!
Ideal for visiting Wincester as within walking distance via a lovely footpath across a nature reserve. Regular buses from just outside the site. Handy to get back after wandering around the city!
Showers a bit short of elbow room! But facilities clean and well kept.
The proximity of the main road meant it was a bit noisy if (like us) you're not used to the sound of busy traffic.

Midweek break
This is a well laid out campsite,in a quiet rural location easy to get to Portsmouth and coast,
very friendly wardens, toilet and shower facilities are clean but in need of a complete refurbishment., only 2 very small showers in both ladies and gents is not enough for a site of this size. My wife and I, would return, but only when facilities have been improved come on caravan club, bring site up to your usual standard.

The site is very good ,have been here a few times ,first time here was 3 years ago was told then that the toilet blocks were going to be updated,as of now nothing has been done so it's falling below club standard. The wardens do their best to keep it running
Winchester visit
Good clean site, staff very helpful, easy to get to, could do with Wi-Fi on site, will be back.
Our first caravan outing
Staff very friendly, pretty but basic site, very clean although a little dated. Good location and a very quiet site.
Functional but unfriendly
Disappointed by fierce warden and spectacular lack of personal space in the upper field. Please don't lecture road weary motorhomers for 10 minutes on how to park their non-existent caravan in addition to bombarding with numerous other rules. A bit pricey for what is offered and very little space/ thought for kids. Facilities basic but nevertheless spotless and site well kept. Fantastic location just wish it had been friendlier and more relaxing. Seemed popular with 60+ dog owners.
Capital of England in the dark ages with a site to match
This could be a wonderful pair of sites, because that is what you have, two fields separated by a private roadway with no easy access from one to the other. The staff were great and made every effort to keep the site and the rather inadequate facilities immaculate. There is one toilet block per site in which for over fifty units you will find only TWO showers for male and female campers. In the upper field these showers are the absolute minimum in size measuring just 760mm square. It was obvious that quite a few campers would not be able to fit into the shower tray and close the curtains behind themthem, this combined with only three toilets and three wash basins meant that rising for a shower at anything less than the crack of dawn left you queuing up among campers trying to use the toilets and washrooms in a very cramped and embarrassing space. Women visitors were equally eft lacking in facilities provided with only four washbasins and five toilets per site. If your unit whether caravan, motorhome or tent does not have spacious toilet and shower facilities this site could leave you feeling short changed in comparison to other club sites. The club really does have to put a revamp of Morn Hill at the front of the list.
Families
Stayed for 1 night with family as a stop off for ferry. Not a site I would go back to with children. Toilets far too small for the size of the site. Dissapointing. Caravan club seems to be for older campers and not very family friendly.
