Lovely setting

Spent a long weekend in February 2015 with hubby and 2 dogs. Bonus was having a dog walk to let the boys have a run. Facilities were spotless and plenty of showers and loos available if you needed them. A short stroll into the village was another bonus. Only thing that kept waking us was the noise of the crow scarers!! lol Will return again.

Marshy Weekend

Lovely, well maintained site, the staff were friendly and helpful. Well positioned for walking into Moreton in the marsh, lots of shops to look in. Easy access for walking on the Monarch way, which we did and found out why it's called Moreton in the MARSH!  Overall, a lovely weekend, only downside was road noise, as has been said before, but worth it for the position.

Does what it says on the tin

This is a large site, about 180 pitches so I guess at peak times it's very busy. We visited in January so there was plenty of space. Facilities and cleanliness were excellent as you would expect from a club site. You can walk into the town in 10 minutes. An ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds. We would happily visit again.

Brrrrrr! Cold and Frosty.

Just returned from our very first winter outing and it was fantastic. We only saw a smattering of snow which was a pity but although temperatures remained well below freezing we were cosy and warm in our little Ariva.   We stayed at Morton in the Marsh, Caravan Club Site.  We chose it as it’s right on the main road, so little chance of problems arriving or departing during adverse weather. The site’s really nice, spotless with great facilities, as you would expect and the staff friendly and welcoming. If there was anything negative to say about the site it’s that, being next to a main road, traffic noise could be a little intrusive. The site is just a short walk into the small market town of Morton in the Marsh (Tuesday is Market day), which has a  good selection of small shops, banks and a supermarket, there are plenty of nice cafes and eating establishments and enough pubs to ensure a merry stay. The Cotswolds are a wonderful place, full of quaint villages to explore regardless of the weather.  We had a fantastic stay and will certainly return.

Cracking Location

I don't know why, but we have for some reason overlooked this site for weekend getaways, but this is a cracking site. We stayed here during the second weekend in Jan and just love it. The site is about 600m off the Fosse Way and perfectly sited for either couples or families visiting the Cotswolds. If like us you have no children in tow you will love the 5 min walk into the heart of the town which straddles the Fosse Way. There are enough places to drink and eat to keep you entertained for a week, combine this with a rather well kept and managed supermarket at the northern end of the town and you have the perfect weekend away. We only found two high street names in the town and these were food shops in addition to the above mentioned supermarket, everything else is 'old school' English independently owned shops, with a plethora of antique shops to tempt you in. Although gales ripped through the area over the weekend we were well sheltered on the site. The only down side is the road noise from the A44 Moreton to Evesham road on which the site sits. Other than that absolutely cracking site so much so we've made other bookings already. Book it you'll love it too!

Perfect winter break

We stopped by for one night in early January as an early start to the season. This is a clean, friendly and perfectly located site for a short walk into Moreton in Marsh. Overall we were impressed and even bumped into my sister and brother in law who were on site so had a great night with them. The only slight downside is the road noise ( consider your pitch) and the birds scarer noises - which sound like the boom in The Hunger games book and movie....

Happy New Year

This is a nice site in the Cotswolds, with the villiage only a 5 minute stroll away.  The villiage itself has numerous things to keep you interested, fed and watered.  Stow on the Wold is just down the road.  Another nice villiage with the added benefit of having the Scott's shops. The site has good facilities which are kept warm and spotless.  A little road noise.  Good size dog walk and a huge children's play area. All wardens were really friendly and arranged a get together for New Years Eve.  Great way to see in the New Year with a group of other members, in a room suitably decked out.

New year break. 2014

The journey was straight forward thanks to caravan clubs instructions. Pitch was nice and big. We had a very warm welcome, and found the facilities clean and warm. There is a little road noise but once we were warm and snug in our van it was quite. We enjoyed our stay at Moreton in Marsh, and will go back. It's conveniently situated for many beauty spots, also not far away from shops and supermarkets. Plenty of walks to be had, as Moreton is quite close. Lovely holiday.

Well laid out

Stayed only one night due to noise from bird scarer close by scaring dog and road noise. I can imagine this site very different in summer when the trees are in full bloom to deaden these noises. Great dog walking space and close to village centre. Went on market day but not overly impressed, much preferred Broadway to visit. Facilities were spotless, and friendly staff.

Perfect location

Lovely site, depending on pitch, there is noise from main road next to site, but not a problem, perfect location for town and Cotswolds area. Plenty of walks(both from site and short drives)and great dog walking area on site.
