Great site

Stayed here on many occasions and never been disappointed. The wardens are helpful and friendly. The site is spotless and well cared for, the only slight problem is the main A40 which runs alongside the site and is busy most days and nights and can disturb light sleepers not used to traffic noise at night.

Good stay

Had a great stay, the Wardens are so helpful & friendly. Parts of the site ie washing up areas do need updating though. The pizza guy who visits Tuesday's & Friday's is NOT to be missed. Had a lovely weekend.

Always a joy

This was our third time at Moreton and we just love it, wardens are always friendly and helpful, the site itself is lovely and clean, well kept and tidy. Just a short walk to the High Street where you can enjoy all sorts of different shops from shoes to bakers to tea shops and antiques. There is a brilliant market one day a week which is well worth a look around. Plenty of great places to visit very close to the site such as Batsford Arboretum and Hidcote, Evesham and the lovely villages to name but a few. A bus stops outside the site entrance for those who don't want to drive. Try the freshly made Pizza on pizza nights, lovely. All in all this site has something for everybody, those of you who have dogs will find a really large dog walk which is fenced in, just watch out for the rabbits ! We took a bird feeding station with us this time and were not disappointed, birds began to use it very quickly due to lots of sheltered corners, we will be going again next year.

Good wardens

Sadly when we arrived our caravan let us down and we had to leave the next day and return it to the dealer but while we were at the site the wardens did everything they could to help us correct the faults which gave us great comfort knowing they were there to help

Good Tmes

Had a excellent 7 Days at Moreton one of our favourites. Lovely and clean with very friendly and helpful staff. The only minor downside was the road noise due to our late arrival at 3 pm, 11th Jul, ending up on pitch 74. However this did not deflect from enjoying the park, Moreton the lovely Cotswold countryside and the local pub Redesdale Arms excellent steak and beer.

Great Wardens

We visited Morten for a family weekend and to have a BBQ to celebrate a birthday so we didn't do much in the area. The site is immaculately kept , and although would be some road noise if beside the road we were not so it did not affect us. Pitches are a bit tight if you have an awning meaning you have to park across the front of your pitch. Bonus is the wardens doing croissants etc. at weekends. My main reason for this review is to compliment the Wardens. We have visited many many site over the years and without a doubt all the wardens were the most pleasant and helpful we have come across.

Cotswolds on your doorstep

Great site for exploring the Cotswolds with everything worth visiting within a short drive. Wardens welcoming but male wardens around the site a little surly. As previous reviewers, agree the pitches are cramped in some areas. CC rules seems to fluctuate depending on which site you visit with space between pitches being inconsistent. Short walk into moreton which is a charming and real Cotswold village. Horse and groom pub is a must visit just a mile up to Bourton on the Hill. Wifi absolute rubbish yet again and £10 a week!!!

close to the town

We've been to morton 3 times now and we love it, the sites well kept and the toilet and shower block has always been spotless. The staff are friendly and helpful,  and the walk into morton town is a very short walk. There's plenty of pubs and restaurants for a small town, the bear does a lovely steak. At the beginning of the town is a budgens supermarket, and another couple of small supermarkets in the town, overall it's a lovely place to visit, hopefully we'll be going back there later in the year.

Bit disappointing

This is our third visit to this site, its pleasant and quite close to moreton in marsh town, easy to walk into but we were disappointed this time with where we had to pitch, right at the opposite end from the entrance, where the pitches are quite small and you are very close to the next caravan which doesnt make it very private.  On arrival we found someone had plugged into our numbered electric socket, the reason being the one they should have used didnt work ! So instead of sorting it out with the wardens they selfishly decided to plug into ours as no one was on our pitch at the time, so it was left to us to trek all the way back to the reception on a very hot day to tell them.  To the wardens credit someone came over within 10 minutes and sorted it.  I think there should be a notice up on these electric points asking people not to plug into someone elses power point. We have also noticed that vans arrive before 12 o clock (one person 35mins early) and are still allowed in which doesnt give a fair advantage to others who arrive at the correct time to find a suitable pitch, as these people always get the best ones ! this has happened at other sites we have been to also, I do think that this rule needs tightening up.  Its a nice site but such a shame that these sort of things happen.
