First visit to this site - it won't be our last - easy access, short walk to moreton. Facilities were very clean, our pitch was great, decent size, but best of all were the wardens, exceptionally helpful, and friendly, great feeling to the site.
Hard, Hard standings
Fantastic site, but you will need a lump hammer and strong pegs for the awning on hard standing. I suspect concrete base under gravel and a mallet won't drive them through. I will however say again great site, and I will book to go back again. but this time with a large hammer

Convenient break
Our first visit here but it won't be the last. It is easy to walk into Moreton and to access the countryside and beautiful towns in the area. The washrooms are clean, warm and well-maintained and the showers magnificent! Some noise from the nearby road but our main complaint (not specific to here) is that there was a charge for Wifi (and reception was not good anyway, according to others). Club members should not have to pay for Wifi!!
Great break
Just returned after 9 nights, lovely stay easy walk to town friendly wardens clean site perfect. ..
Pitches too close
Just left the site after two nights, we were on pitch 121 which only had a 2 mtr. grass strip between us and pitch 122 totally against fire regs. we saw the wardens and they didn't realise it was so small even though they cut the grass every week. We could not put our awning out as it would be on the grass leaving even less space between the two pitches. When pitch 122 vacated the wardens closed the pitch. The regional manager is visiting next week and hopefully will email me with the outcome. In our opinion the area we were in was really overcrowded and resembled a car park or winter storage.

What a lovely place
What a great place, clean, friendly and the village/town was a delight. Thank you to the staff for the help and chit chat. :)
May Half Term Stay
Me and my family and our dog visited this site for a week. On arrival at the site we found the wardens to be friendly and helpful. We found the pitches to be of a good size and pleasantly set out in clusters around the site. Toilet facilities were always very clean and never to far from any pitch. There is a good enclosed dog walking area and plenty of dog waste bins. The kids loved the play area and the crazy golf. There is a pizza oven on site on Tue/Fri but gets very busy. With a short walk into the village you will find plenty of shops, tea rooms and pubs. Would recommend taking an aerial cable as TV reception is very poor. We would recommend this site to friends and family and will be staying here again.
Great site brilliant location
This is a great site in a fantastic location ! The site facilities are immaculate as you would expect from the Caravan Club, friendly wardens and very well kept grounds. There is a pizza van on a Friday and I must admit they cook some of the best pizzas I've ever had ! The town is a short walk from the site as has numerous pubs, shops (mainly charity) and restaurants ! The only downside is the TV reception is non existent so you will need an extension coaxial to plug into the point on the ehu (buy beforehand as the they're on sale on site at £25 !!!!! (£4.99 from Argos ) there is a large children's play area too all in all it's a great place we will return
Perfect. May 2015
Last stop before going home and despite the bad weather which seemed to follow us from Scotland we enjoyed our stay here. The site is quite large but you never feel that due its layout and natural barriers of trees and hedges. Two sections to choose from but nothing between them. Good modern facilities. Wardens great and friendly. Good dog walk on site and lots of walks from the site and the town which is a 5-10minute walk away. Town is good with a couple of hotels, butchers, shops, Tesco Extra, Coop and a great Budgens. There are a number of tea/coffee rooms and eating establishments and most are... DOG FRIENDLY! YEY! Well done Moreton. (Grantown take note!). Cant find any fault with this site and I will be back!!
