Feels like home from home

2nd visit to Moreton and about to book a 3rd visit as my son loves the friendliness of the site.  The wardens are very helpful and friendly. The fish and chips shop on the Main street serves wonderful fresh food and would recommend, but be warned the queue can be long and out the door. Marked down on peace and quiet as the main road can be a little loud with motorcycles racing along the road which is a shame. But my family could sleep through a storm so doesn't bother us.

Busy road

The location of this site was ideal for what we wanted. The facilities where clean and a good number for the site. The downside to this site is its location to the A44. The noise from the road made our stay unpleasant and the wagons moved the caravan. You could not sit outside or have the windows open. We also found the site crowded because cars had to be parked in front of pitch.   Shame really because the site is a great location.

Top site

It was so refreshing to go to a Club site that was relaxed and very family friendly! Our children never cause a problem, but we feel that on most club sites, the wardens are watching for them to make a wrong move...not so here. The fab playpark/mini golf/footy pitch all help to keep the children occupied and happy. Freshly baked croissants and bread every day is a lovely touch....An excellent site all round and very close to the village which is great. Enough good (doggie friendly) pubs and shops for all your needs.

One of our Favourites

We are very fond of the Cotswolds and stay at the various club site quite often. Moreton-in-Marsh is one of our favourites as it is so well located a short walk from the town. There is good pub food available along with fish and chips, Italian and Indian food. The Tuesday market is worth a visit. There is a supermarket 4 miles away and a really nice garden centre in the town. All the Cotswold attractions are nearby. The site facilities are pretty new and kept in immaculate condition. I gave the site 5 stars for peace and quiet because although pitches near the road can be noisy there are usually pitches available on the opposite and quiet side of the site. We will of course be back.

ALL-ROUND EXCELLENCE

We used the Site during August and found it to be excellent. The Site location was easy to find and just right for a base from which we could visit the Cotswolds. The Site was very well organised and maintained to a high standard. The Facilities Blocks were clean and bright. They were  cleaned during the afternoon which caused minimal disruption. The Staff were happy, helpful and keen. We have no hesitation in recommending this site.

Fantastic site

Moreton-in-Marsh is a lovely Cotswold village and the site is situated in the perfect spot! Even though we had 2 rainy days out of 3 the fabulous dog field and easy access to the village meant we had plenty to do. The wardens were really helpful and the facilities are great, will definitely return if in the area!

Best Wardens ever!!

This site is perfect in it`s location being just a 5 min walk from reception to the village. It is quite large and divided into two halves, the right hand side is quite leafy and mostly in shade due to the large number of trees in the area. The left hand side still has a number of trees around the perimeter but the middle part is quite open and sunny. The free crazy golf is fantastic as is the children`s play area and football field. A place to meet other children as our grandchildren did. The amenity block is well cleaned but we have found recently that people are not leaving the showers clean with lots of hair blocking the shower trap. We have been to this site quite often and find this to be the case here more that anywhere else and don`t know why. It is not a criticism of the wardens just a comment. The wardens are the friendliest and most helpful that we have ever encountered within the club. As we have so often commented on why other wardens on club sites are in the business when they obviously don`t enjoy it as they are so very grumpy.

What can one say about Moreton In Marsh CCS

The first thing that strikes you about the site is when you walk into the office/shop. The wardens and all smiling and are extremely helpful, they are a wonderful collection of people and are very friendly. The site itself is extremely well kept and all the facilities are spotless which goes to show the care and hard work that is carried out be the wardens and the grounds man. It is only a ten minute walk into town which has a market on Tuesday's, there are many coffee shops and a good selection of taverns doing a wide selection of meals. Bus and train access makes it easy to visit other places without the car, but there again the car does get you around and there are many places to visit in the area. My wife and I would like to say a big thank you to all the wardens for being so helpful, I was not in the best of health and the wardens assisted in putting up and taking down the awning and then connecting to the car on departure. Thank you we hope to see you again. Shaun & Wendy

A Lovely Site But Lousy WiFi

We arrived late afternoon to a warm welcome from the wardens who were extremely friendly and helpful. There weren't too many available pitches away from the road so we ended up on one that backed onto the road. Needless to say, the traffic noise was constant during the day and there was plenty of traffic noise during the night too but that is to be expected. It wouldn't put us off booking a pitch here again though we would hope to get a pitch further back from the road next time. The site offers great facilities including a great dog walk and children's play area. The site is ideally placed for a walk into Moreton and central to drive to all the pretty villages like Broadway,Bourton,Stow and Burford. We enjoyed the Tuesday Moreton market too despite some of the negative reviews online. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the WiFi.We paid £10 for a week's internet access but most of the time we couldn't even get a signal. Not good when you have three teens who think the lack of internet is like losing a lung.
